The first 2 days after putting it in our 35 hex, it was cloudy as heck. But then we woke up to the clearest tank ever.
I changed the filter, which was new when we put in the clarifier, and it was filthy! I guess it did a great job!

Works well for green algae in sweet water fish tank

This product really gets the job done. I came home one day and the tank was blurry. After a few drops of this, it got the job done.

Have only used once and the cloudiness in my tank has completely cleared up. I also believe that it is a great price for what you receive, as it only takes a small amount. It’s easy to use and comes with a built in measuring cup in the lid. Absolutely amazing stuff and I highly recommend.

I recently upgraded my fish tank and did everything right as far as I know, but within three days my whole tank became cloudy and it stayed like that for about a week and a half. And it looked like it wasn’t going away any time soon. I tried to change some of the water and cleaned the tank by taking out the fish poops and debris. Still, it didn’t help.
So, I looked for something on the Internet that I can use to clear up my tank. That’s when I came across ACC-CLEAR. I was skeptical if this is going to clear my fish tank. However, I ordered it and I got it 2 days later. Anxiously, I poured some of this stuff in my tank thinking that my tank will be CRYSTAL CLEAR by the next day. Well, I woke up the next morning and looked at my fish tank. What did I see? CLOUDY WATER. I was disappointed especially when they say on the bottle that it will work in hours. I then followed their direction about repeating the treatment. Still, my tank wasn’t getting clear at all.
Then, out of frustration I sort of started all over. I took out nearly 90% of the water and filled it with clean water, Cleaned all the plants and ornaments, cleaned the filter machine and replaced its filter with my own version or homemade filter with carbon, limestone and filter media. After all that, I did the shock treatment and put my fishes back in. At this point, even though most of the cloudiness in my water was gone, there was still good 20% cloudiness and it started to increase as time went on. The next day I decided to use ACC-CLEAR to clear up my tank. VIOLA!!! The next day, I just couldn’t believe my eyes. MY FISH TANK got very CLEAR and there was hardly any cloudiness… I am so HAPPY…. 🙂
So, what is the moral of the story especially for those who are complaining that this product didn’t help with their fish tank situation? lol… well, this product alone will not work to clear your water. You need to do your part as well by keeping your fishtank CLEAN like cleaning your filter, cleaning your fishtank of debris and fish poops and whatever other cleaning things you have to do for your fishtank. ONLY then, you should try this product. That’s what I had to do and this product worked right away.
GOOD LUCK… 🙂

Aplicar la dosis correcta pero si con un cambio parcial de agua y un incremento en el flujo del filtro.

I have a 6-gallon fish tank with 3 goldfish. Even with a heavy-duty filter and changing the water weekly, the water would still be really cloudy and dirty. Frustrated, I stumbled upon this product and decided to give it a try. I followed the directions (few drops weekly), but I noticed it wasn’t really working. Still frustrated, I decided to increase the frequency of use. It works AMAZING! Now, I put in 3 drops daily and the tank is crystal clear! I still change the water weekly, but the daily drops keep the tank super-clean all week! I am guessing the reason I need to use daily is because goldfish are not the cleanest of fish 😉 I would definitely recommend this product…but I would adjust the frequency/amount based on your needs.

This works exactly like it says. Make sure to read dosing information, it doesn’t take much and is easy to put in too much, but if that does happen you can do a partial water change which I also had to do. This works by clumping together all of the build up in the water that shouldn’t be there, so that when it runs through the filter it will stay in there, resulting in clear water. You will definitely need to change the filter the next day, and possibly the day after if needed. Water for me cleared up in under 30 minutes, was completely clear within 12 hours. Definitely worth the cost.

From what I’ve seen this product works great if your cloudiness is from dust, debris, and maybe a light haze from bacteria or whatever. How this works is it acts as a binding agent to particles in the water and clumps them together so it is easier for your filter media to catch it, or it sinks to the bottom in clumps which can be vacuumed out. I however used this when I had an EXTREME bacteria bloom. I could not see 2 inches past the glass. I used the proper dosage and it bonded up so much bacteria that it created long slime trails that got stuck all over my driftwood, in my plants, and a pain to remove from my grass carpet, as giant clumps of bacteria attached themselves to it. On top of that since I just had such a high amount of bacteria it clogged up my filter within minutes. Again this works great as a water polisher and removing dust and light haziness. If you have a bloom like mine where your water nearly looks solid grey, it is too far gone for this product to fix. You are better off changing out polishing filter pads daily and letting it dissipate on its own what getting bacteria clumps all over substrate, plants, glass, and filter.

I had a cycling tank that I put some gravel into. Even after cleaning the gravel really good, there was still a slight haziness to the water. Since I knew it was too early on in the cycle for it to be a bacteria bloom, I got some of this stuff to clear it up. And viola! A few hours later, the tank was crystal clear. I’ll definitely be using this regularly after my tank cycles to keep my filter running at max compacity, as the directions say.
