Beste Saiten die ich je hatte. Klingen sogar auf einer „billigen“ Gitarre super. Kaufe nochmal…

5 out of 6 strings sound good. High E string was faulty. Intonation was all messed up when I put it on.

I’ve used D’adarrio pro arte strings for as long as I’ve played classical guitar. I love the Aquila ukulele strings so I wanted to try these for guitar. I was disappointed after the first day or two because the sound was very flat and unbalanced. These strings take much longer to settle in than clear nylons. Deciding to be patient, I waited to see how they sounded once they stopped stretching. I’m so glad I did. Once you play them in, the clarity and feel these stings have is amazing. It is much more of an organic tone. Sweet and singing. The basses are rich, the mids are bright and the trebles are clear. These strings also record quite well.

The only negative I have is the time it takes for them to settle.

Quality and consistency is great. I would certainly recommend these to anyone. Looking for a more traditional tone.

This is a superb set of strings and a nice change of pace from my usual EJ45’s. The trebles have a noticeable ‘squeak’ to them when they are new, very reminiscent of gut strings. Initially, I found the string noise to be a bit of a bother, but after a few hours of play time on them, they are warm and smooth as could be!

I find them to be very tuning stable – something that cannot be said for gut! To me, they are the guitar equivalent of Pirastro Chorda strings. Very nice indeed!

Takes time to break in, play and stretch strings often to expedite this process. They have a nice grip to them for those who play with just flesh or nail and flesh. Wonderful tone on my cedar, will buy again.

I wanted to do just that, but I’m glad I waited. These strings take a few days to settle in and sound the way they’re supposed to. I got another set for my cedar-topped dark sounding guitar and it’s a completely new animal now. In fact, it’s become perfect. Balanced, well rounded, percussive when needed, and smooth. I don’t have nails and they are good for this. However, I’m currently growing nails, and I think they’ll be just fine. Great strings!

Nice strings, nice percussive pop to them. I think these would be great on a guitar with a bright sound to add a bit more gruff if that’s one you’re looking for. My guitar already sounds pretty warm, so it was overkill with these. Will buy again to try them on my other guitar. They “stretch” super fast and overall feel like quality strings.

I play old Lutheran Hymns and Jazz mostly. These strings were just what my LAG Tramontane needed. Nice clarity and don’t feel greasy. They have a little bit of grip on them. Playing the chunk-chunk-chunk jazz rhythm on it sounds great without being muddy.

Will be my goto set for this guitar.
