my daughter loves this jacket. pink is her favorite color and this has two tones of pink! the quality on this is better than i expected at this price for sure. i would say its comparable to a jacket costing over $60, at least in my area. the jacket is insulated, but not against freezing temps. i would say this is warm enough for cold fall temps or mild winter weather. the stitching and material are top notch with no odd stitches or off center seams. the zippers work smoothly and without a lot of resistance. if you’re in the market for a warm coat that wont break the bank this is a great option. the only thing to be aware of is that it does run a bit large. i personally prefer that to running small since it gives your kids a little more use out of it.

We just moved to New Hampshire this year and so we desperately needed a nice winter coat for our daughter. This one works very well for temperatures 20-40 degrees (farenheit). It also dries off very quickly once we come in from the snow, which is great because we live in a small apartment and there’s not a lot of room for soggy coats to hang.

One thing to be aware of is the size. Our daughter is 3′ 8″ and about 40 lbs. and we ordered the extra small and it’s still a little too large for her. Probably it will fit her well next year, but for now it’s a little too big.

That said, we’re using this coat a lot regardless because it is comfortable, she likes the colors, and it keeps her warm in mild winter weather. Overall, we are very happy with this coat!

This is a great warm winter jacket. It is especially nice for the snow with helping keep my daughter warm and dry. My daughter loves that is pink since it is her favorite color and I like it because it makes it easy for me to see her in the snow. It fits her well. It does run a bit big, but I am happy about that. It zips open and closed easily. It is also has lots of pockets which my daughter loves to fill with rocks she finds everywhere.

My daughter has just finished skiing a the entire season in this jacket and she gives it a thumbs up. The coat looks good and held up great. It seems thin, but it kept her comfortable in 6°F with 40mph winds on top of the mountain. On 30°F days she was a little too warm. This coat has no armpit vents, so if your kid normally runs hot, like mine, they will be trying to peel this off as soon temps rise above freezing. She really liked that the coat was thin, as she feels that overstuffed coats impede her movements.
My only complaint was the cuffs on the sleeves. I’m talking about the inner cuff specifically, that is normally made of smooth, thin fabric, with a thumb hole, so you can put your mitten over it. On this coat, the cuff was made of really thick sweatshirt-type fabric. It was so bulky that there was no way to get mittens on over it or even near it. There was just so much thick fabric there that it was pushing her mittens off her hands. I cut those cuffs off and it worked out. I took a picture of what remains of the cuff now. It was about three times this long before.

This jacket is perfect for days that you don’t need a super heavy coat. The color is really fun and bright, my daughter is a big fan! I got this jacket for her to wear for next year and the sizing runs slightly big, so just take that into account when trying to figure out which size is best. The jacket is well-insulated and warm, but not super thick. I like that the hood has a velcro tab to cover the zipper, and that there are a whole bunch of pockets that zip open and closed. Overall, this is the perfect jacket for cool to cold but not freezing weather.

My 11-year-old just used this jacket for a ski trip and loved it. The jacket was warm enough that she unzipped it while skiing in upper 20s weather (with a bib underneath).. The jacket has plenty of pockets, and the zipper works well. The color is attractive and easy to spot on the slopes. I would buy again.

I bought a size L for my 9 y/o daughter (85-95lbs, 4’9”) who is a bit on the tall side. The reviews were mixed in terms of whether or not the jacket runs small or large. I bought a L, assuming it would be too big and I may have to return it – but it fits her just about as perfect as it can, while leaving a little room to grow or layer. I’m certain a M would’ve been too small or she’d have grown out of it by the end of the winter season. The jacket has good waterproofing, feels like it will provide protection from the wind. It is a jacket, not a shell or windbreaker, but is not lined with faux fur or fleece – so it is lighter and feels less bulky than many winter coats. My child prefers this to the bulky coats that limit her movement or cause her to overheat when playing outside in winter (Wisconsin winter).
The sleeves are nice and long and have knitted wrist inserts (not sure what to call those) at the end of each sleeve. No thumb holes but a soft, snug fit to keep sleeves in place and snow out.
Hood is not detachable. No zip pocket on sleeve for ski passes, but has two chest pockets in addition to standard side/hip pockets. Easy zipper.
