Arm & Hammer Cloud Control Platinum Multi-Cat Litter, 18 lbs

Pros: This litter has the texture of a sandbox. No problem with the cat using it. It is truly dust free. I can tell the difference in my Maine Coon’s coat and in the filter of the air purifier I have running adjacent to the area of the litter box. It doesn’t have a heavy perfumed smell so neither does my cat’s fur. It doesn’t track out of the litter box near as much as other litters.

Cons: I am not impressed with the clumping. The clumps break apart easily so it is necessary to use the scoop to filter the litter in the box thoroughly. I am also not impressed with the odor control hence the air filter.

For me, the pros outweigh the cons. I will not go back to the dust clouds, the dust residue on my cat’s coat and tracked litter again. I am just more diligent about scooping the Iitter 2 or 3 times a day. Small price to pay for my cat not investing litter dust when he washes himself.

 I switched from Fresh Step Clean Paws Advanced to Arm & Hammer Slide. The Slide was ok, but I could smell the litter dust every time my Litter Robot cycled. It also left smears of litter inside the Litter Robot globe. I think this was because the clumps of the Slide litter were soft. I saw this Arm & Hammer Cloud Control Platinum and decided to try it instead. Been using it for a month and I have no litter smears inside my Litter Robot globe. I also do not smell any litter dust when my robot does a cycle. & I never smell cat waste. The litter itself has a very faint pleasant scent. I have 3 cats using 1 Litter Robot, and the 27.5 lb box lasted 1 month. Very happy with this litter!

As promised on the box- zero dust. Litter has a sand-like consistency and has a mild but pleasant scent which smells like apples to me. I suspect my cat has a dust allergy, so I bought this in part to help reduce overall dust levels in the house. Dust in the litter area is gone and no dust puffs up when litter is scooped or poured. My cat uses it with no problems, although because it is more lightweight than regular litter, be prepared to clean up litter that gets outside the box if you cat is an enthusiastic kicker when they bury their business, like mine is.
I couldn’t find the Platinum version on Amazon when it came time to buy more, so I bought the “regular” cloud control litter locally. No idea what the difference is; I read both boxes and they seem identical to me.

Best litter, no dust, very little tracking. Very, very light scent. It clumps well and slides right out when you dump the whole thing. But the box always leaks! Sometimes there’s a visible opening where it’s sealed, sometimes where you open it. But sometimes nothing visible wrong with the box and there’s still spilled litter in box that Amazon puts it in.

We chose to try this kitty litter as our cats had recently started to show a distaste for the old litter. Our kitten randomly started peeing on the floor despite having multiple clean litter boxes that we clean every other day. The boxes are also different kinds, a variety of top entry and normal entry, one smaller box as well just for her. We figured she was likely peeing on the floor because the litter we were using previously was quite dusty so we searched for a new low dust litter, and settled on this one since it also has odor control. We have been using Arm and Hammer litter for the last two years and its clumping and odor control abilities are amazing. This specific litter clumps very well and makes cleaning the box much faster. The litter is very low dust if any and minimizes the smell even better than other Arm and Hammer litters since the litter doesn’t cloud and spread the smell when we clean it. Our cats have not peed on the floor once since we started using this litter. I will say that it is smaller pieces so it does create a bit of a mess outside the box but all kitty litters do that, so I don’t mind. Definitely recommend for sensitive cats or sensitive owners who don’t want to inhale a cloud of cat litter and want to keep the smell at bay!! (Also I highly recommend using Arm and Hammer baking soda when cleaning the box to keep litter smelling good for as long as possible. Scent boosters for litter boxes also help the litter last as long as possible).

Very good kitty litter, nice aroma, and no dust! The box is very heavy, so I cut open the top about half way, and use a scoop to get the litter out. Good buy for the price.

Es la mejor arena que he usado en el medio año que llevo con mi gatita. He buscado entre arenas que no suelten polvo, y es ésta la que mejor cumple esa regla. Las bolitas de orina se comprimen, pero de forma suave, lo que no peovoca que se desmorone o pegue en la caja. No crea nada de lodo y tiene un aroma muy agradable.
El único problema es el precio. Esta vez pude comprarla en oferta, perl el precio usu de más de 800 pesos mexicanos es muy inaccesible.
