I like that it has light bar tells which plugs are live. Wish it was on a base that had places for screws so that it could be crewed into something. Worth the money.

Seems to be a great product. Just plugged it in today.
I noticed right away with it plugged into the USB port directly above or below the dongle for my mouse/keyboard, it seemed to interfere with the dongle’s signal.
I plugged my dongle into a short extender cord that moved it further away from the cord to the hub and the problem was solved.
This certainly does not take away from the product. Just an acceptable work around.

Loved this hub for 2 years and it was worth the $25 for 7 ports of powered USB. Today it just stopped working and won’t power up or pass signal. Could be the power adapter.
I suppose I’ll just buy another one, but I’ll try a different brand.

This device works fine with my 27 inch iMac in recording studio for external SSD drives and am I DI keyboard and drum pads The speed is slower when I do a speed test for the transfer rate but I do have two lightning or USB C on the back of my Mac which I use for my Studio Recording Studio Files. If they can make a dock or hub that can handle all the peripheral’s that I use which is around 11-12. That would be nice it they can connect as fast as the Type “ C” Port or Thunderbolt 3 Ports👍

I’ve only had it a couple weeks or so, but so far it works like a champ. I haven’t noticed any slow data transfers–so far, very happy.
There are 6 devices connected right now. One thing I do like is each 3.0 port can be individually turned on or off.

There is going to be a limit how many powered devices can run at the same time. It does a great job for me, but usually I am only using 1 or two different devices at the same time. It is great having 7 devices plugged in and available all the time.
