If you want to see a good review of this new line of audioquest cables (tower, evergreen, golden gate and Big Sur) then check out Stephen Mejias’s “The Entry Level” column in the October 2013 issue of Stereophile Magazine. His recommendation just might be the thing to get you to purchase these cables. I have chosen the Evergreen series because of their price range. Some of us have to remain at the entry level of audio equipment purchases because we either can’t or won’t pay hundreds of dollars for a 1m piece of cable. My experience with this line has been nothing but positive. I like the sound it produces when compared to my stock cables that I was using before. It is a good purchase.

È un cavo ottico. Ma l’ho usato per sostituire un cavo economico tra streamer e dac e con mio stupore la differenza si sente.
Stavo per cambiare il dac ( un buon topping e30 ii) perché suonava scuro e tappato. Ebbene era il cavo economico. Per ascoltare musica in impianti hi-fi anche entry level i cavi fanno effettivamente la differenza

My multimedia major and i know a good cable up till now i have sworn only by monster THX certified cables and as of to day i can say this Cable by audio quest not only works as good as the THX from monster but coast less and seams to sound better . Personally I would still go with the higher-end cables from audio quest if you can afford the price . but for entry level cable the price is great and sounds like lit should be from a more expensive cable.

Lets be honest, if you’re here you’re at least somewhat of an audiophile. I used this from my bluetooth receiver to my bifrost 2/64 DAC. Did music have more body? More warmth? More detail? Was the midrange elevated? Was the treble suppressed?
None of that happened, it just sounds the same. In the end it just works, and I trust it will continue to work. But that’s what I was expecting, so that’s just fine by me.
TLDR; Works unexceptionally. Nothing wrong with it, and as expected. 5*s.

I heard a noticeable improvement in my bass. I use to use Monster but switched over to audioquest several years ago. The bass with my monster cable was muddy and messy. The audioquest is tight and smooth. The treble has a cleaner improvement as well. You can’t get anything better for the price.

Klangliche Aufwertung meines CD-Laufwerks. Ist etwas dünn aber spielt anscheinend keine Rolle. Preis war günstig bei Amazon.
Nach mehreren Tagen Probehören kann ich sagen das Kabel hat mein über 20 Jahre altes CD Laufwerk zu neuem Leben erweckt. Hatte mir gerade einen Node 2i gekauft und war begeistert . Jetzt höre ich wieder CD da es sich einfach besser anhört.

definitely noticeably better than a cheapo optical chord. Less smudging of the sound during busy action packed moments in a movie or song. It may not be noticeable in standard quality, but definitely can notice when you up the quality to 24bit 96k hz. My standard optical cable would smudge sounds together and sometimes cut out during explosions or action packed moments where there would be lots of sound on all 7 speakers, with this it is hardly noticeable.

Don’t listen to posters that say cables don’t make a difference I can tell you in my system they sure do I had leftover optical cables with last being a monster, not bad but man oh man for another 30 dollars pull the trigger on this aq. What I can tell you at least for me is a larger soundstage and better separation for sure.
