I understand these are the entry level hi hats from zildjian, but for what they typically cost, they should sound better than hitting metal cans together. That being said, they are solid and will likely hold up well to long hours of practice. They look good too. Sound leaves much to be desired and for the price I’d look somewhere else. I’ve already ordered different hi hats to replace them. They just sound bad.

These are great! As a drummer of just under a year I love these hi hats. They are crisp, crunchy, and smooth. Sound great and very durable. As an almost no longer beginner drummer, I highly recommend these.
