I love this thermometer because it is digital and easy to read. It works immediately upon insertion. It seems to be durable. It folds up for easy storage. It has a chart that tells you what temperature different types of meat should be. It works in food and liquids. You have to be careful washing because you donโt want to get the electric part wet but I would say thatโs the only downside.

At this price, it’s worth any amount of time it gives me. Oh, I did clean it before I checked the pits… could you imagine chicken juice in your pits?! Magnets could be a little stronger and it would look fantastic in lime green! But who really cares at this price. I’m pleased and I recommend this! Next, we’ll temp the ol’ poop shoot. Carefully…

I compared a more expensive model side by side with this one. Both are very fast reading temperature, The major difference was a battery and lifetime warranty for about twice the money. The quality and feel of both was the same. Nice thin probe tip for inserting into meat without pushing it all over the grill, as is the case with the thicker probes.

The probe unfolds for use and folds back in for storage. I think I like it better than the ones that require a safely sleeve.

I bought this when I had my air fryer, as I havenโt yet got the confidence in how quick it can cook things so I use it to test the temperature of any meat that I cook in the air fryer. It seems to work really well and I am very happy with it. It is so easy to use and I keep it next to my air fryer. I would really recommend getting one if you are new to air frying it just gives you that bit of confidence When you are not sure about the temperature of your meat
