Good size, has everything that’s needed and very customizable. I do wish the carpet filled out the entire bottom and didn’t leave gaps at the sides, but my spider seems to like that and uses those spaces as his burrow.

Cheap and homemade. Couldโve done this myself and a better job at that. Glue gun glue is everywhere. Got a lil ass stick for it too. Something I couldโve just got from my front yard. Will be returning

Nothing wrong with the product, works well enough for what it is, for the money itโs still over priced, spend an extra $10 and get a larger and better made one. The fake grass is useless and the stick is a grape stem, go to dollar tree and make your own for under $5 thatโs better quality.
Aside from that: I got this for a sling I found in my room, beautiful little guy, Iโm new to keeping spiders and I didnโt think of it at the time, but the dish was too deep for him and unfortunately drowned in it by morning. So if you have smaller spiders almost everything but the actual box is useless, donโt buy this.

Our spider seems happy and content in this box. It was smaller than I expected, but I guess I didnโt know what 4 inches was. Itโs sleek looking, as itโs all acrylic. It is a bit difficult to open the feed hole, but this is manageable/fixable.
Got all 5 of the same dang pins. :\ –
I love this little enclosure SO much! So much so that I got one for my first jumping spider and then bought more for my new additions when I got them. Itโs perfect for my little slings as I wait for them to grow big enough to not be able to escape the air vents of a larger enclosure. The one in this picture has just hatched recently and is still unable to escape. You can fit maybe one hide in here, but my babies are so small they actually make their hammocks in the grass

I’d give it 5 stars, but it does have its issues (could be user error tho). Great little box cage for baby jumper.
Issue 1. The water tube and the other stopper are not easy to get on n off. The rubber “o” ring for the water tube is near impossible to get tight, but luckily our little guy hasn’t figured out how to escape. Or maybe the ring is doing a fine job. Idk. Jumper been in there 2 months now and going strong.
Issue 2. Not sure how to open cage to clean it without jumper escaping. So for now, just leaving him be.
Beyond those 2 issues, really for the price, it’s great little cage. The water tube is great (we use a balled up paper towel vs the water dish tho. And the second stopper is great for dropping flies or baby crickets into for feeding time.
Highly recommend.

This will only work temporarily for my lil spood, which is fine, and I don’t recommend it unless you need it temporarily.
My tiny spider is about 1mm. Very, very tiny baby. But the makeshift containers I was making for him were just difficult to deal with – I was disturbing him too much to just mist inside them, and there was no way he could make his web den in them without them getting destroyed.
With some adjustments – and other purchases – I was able to make it workable until he gets big enough for a REAL enclosure (just go to Tarantula Cribs, they have great prices for acrylic enclosures for jumping spiders). He’s already made a bit of a home for himself within 3 days.
I’d give this product less than 2 stars if I didn’t need it only temporarily, and if it didn’t more or less serve that purpose of being a temporary enclosure.
It arrived a bit janky. I had to pull off dried flooded glue. I also had to properly glue down some of the attachments (particularly around the rubber seal at the top, as the entire thing was loose). Very, VERY sloppy glue job. The ‘turf’ they send you sheds like CRAZY and is useless. And don’t expect a very glamourous twig – it’s just a little stick – but it does fit in. The tiny bowl is very cute though.
There is no assembly for the box itself, but with how much extra DIY you have to do to make this workable, I would NOT say there’s no assembly required. Make sure you have proper glue, possibly an Exacto blade too. And stuff to fill it. The turf is just garbage.
The enclosure is still a bit too big for my baby spider, as he can’t really find or catch prey very well in it, even if I put said prey in the bowl. I’ve had to, unfortunately, disturb him, and put him in a tiny container with prey, which he promptly (and cutely) stalks and pounces on.
Lil Spood gets a cuteness rating of 11/10.
Enclosure… ehhh… 4/10.

For starters, look at the photo in the listing, and then look at the actual stick included. (The listing used the word โdriftwood โ.) and look at the opening for feeding your little critter. The one I got is not like that at all. Itโs a sort of silicone stopper โ just as big on the inside as on the outside. Feels like itโs meant to be permanent. Very difficult to open and nearly impossible to close. Not sure how Iโm going to feed my jumping spider without him escaping or getting squished. I think itโs meant to have a lid more like the water tube. And Iโm not sure of the point of the water tube. Canโt put more than a few drops without it spilling all over the water-repellent carpet. The โartificial turfโ is a piece of very silky strange carpet. For $22.61 Iโm feeling spectacularly unimpressed. Do not recommend.
On the positive side, the plastic is nice and clear.

I recently started using these once my Regal slings were bigger and needed more room to explore and hunt. They work perfect! My spoods love them.
