After a week, which when it was working, readings were inaccurate, low. Now it won’t work and only reads “FL”
I have had several of these in the past and have never lasted long or been accurate. I felt I would try this same model again. Never again as I can’t return it! I have no idea why Amazon won’t let me return it for even a replacement. I’m so upset I wasted my money and have no recourse.
It is non returnable… not surprising as it is a garbage scam that puts people in danger!

It broke after my buddy threw it and it hit the concrete because come on, who would even use this sober? A door guy at a club? I just wish it was a little cheaper tbh

Hatte es mehrmals getestet. Manchmal zeigt es gar nichts an, dann eigentlich immer 0,0 Promille, auch nach 2 Glas Wein.

I have use this within 15 minutes of drinking alcohol and have blown 0.00. I redo it and it comes out at 0.04. Sometimes it comes out zero twice before I get a true reading. I would not trust this device to work with a kid or somebody else you really need accuracy to monitor. I do love this brand and their larger unit is a veritable or course that is always accurate. Sadly, both of the small units are showing the same problems after three months.

Will not give the same response even if you blow it immediately after it gives the first response. Not sure if the more expensive one is any better, but if you were gonna waste your money on this may as well get the $70 version it may be more accurate.

Its pretty accurate, of course not 100% police accurate. But it’s almost there. If used a LOT then u need to send it in for calibration obviously.. not much to say about it,it’s a breathalyzer haha it does what it’s supposed to, you need to use it properly for best results so keep that in mind

Got this or my family member’s 21st birthday and they thought it was such a neat present. They take the reading with a grain of salt though and wait to fully sober up before they drive because it’s easy to trick the reading into a higher or lower score. We compared it several times to our professional breathalyzer (BACtrack S80) and the scores were almost different more than 50% of the time.
Pros:
Responds quickly and gives reading in 5 sec of less
Compact (fits in the average male jean pocket) and can attach to a key ring/lanyard
Cons:
Not accurate and easy to “trick”. You can wait the full 20 minutes and notice you’ll score differently if you’ve had water or gargled other non alcoholic liquids right before hand.
Would show 0.02 even even though the person blowing into it didn’t have any alcohol prior to testing

This is a game changer, no longer to I have to worry if I’m sober enough to leave a place and worry about getting a dui

It gives a reading, I haven’t compared it to any other devices so I don’t have much to go on. Keep in mind that if you blow into it after drinking you will indeed get a BOC but if you keep blowing into it or pass it around the following readings will be incorrect.
