I adore this set of disposable, recyclable compostable utensils. I can honestly say that they are one of the best eco-friendly food utensils I have ever used (the knives actually cut through food lol). Not only are the utensils aesthetically pleasing with their natural color, but they also hold up well when used in both tough and soft foods. They come pre-packaged in a container so all I had to do was grab what I needed out of the package and use them!
The most impressive aspect of these bamboo disposable utensils is the fact that they are biodegrade. Within a few weeks, depending on conditions, these forks, spoons and knives turn into nutrient dense fodder for soil – eliminating any waste created by traditional plastic or metal products. Additionally, because of the natural material used, neither my hands nor my mouth got too hot or too cold from handling/eating with these temperature sensitive utensils as compared to ones made out of plastics or metals.

We buy bamboo utensils to help the environment by not using plastic. Doesn’t everyone buy them for that reason? That’s why I was surprised when they arrived wrapped in plastic. Please consider changing the way these are wrapped as this doesn’t make sense at all.

Everywhere we go my wife has to make sure that the utensils that we get with a meal are compostable, the straws are compostable, and the food comes in sustainable packaging. I like to camp, so I knew it would be a no go to take plastic utensils with us to the campsite. I found these bamboo utensils and got them, let my wife inspect them, and she has given me her seal of approval to use them on camping trips. Win-win. Also, the earth wins. 5 stars.

I loved these! I bought them for my wedding to support our zero waste goal. Compostable bioplastics are not acceptable through my compost facility (or most facilities), and renting utensils is expensive. These were the perfect solution!
Also, my guests all commented on how sturdy they were.
