Belkin 45W Dual USB-C Wall Charger

This charging hub be so easy to use it charges my phone fast,it’s a good size and you can use two cords at once. Good power and performance excellent.

It accommodates two items charging at the same tiime. Plugs into a regular outlet. It is portable so you can take it anywhere and, for example, be able to charrge your phone and your watch at the same time. Charges quickly.

It works really good. I use it to charge my phone and Apple Watch. Sometimes it can’t fall out of the wall, but it’s not very hard to push back in. It is small and can fit in small places. It charges fast and doesn’t get that hot.

45W from a single port, or divided among two ports. Powerful enough for a laptop. The only charger I need when traveling.

I have used and reviewed a lot of chargers in my time. This little charger by Belkin is my new favorite. Here’s why: (check out my 📸📸 for a closer look)

Cons 👎👎👎

– To be honest, I can’t fault this little thing for much of anything!
– It’s a little pricy but it compares well to others on the market. Personally, I wouldn’t buy the cheapest I could find, but the best I could afford!
– Oh, the Belkin logo is printed on. I wish it was molded in (embossed or engraved) 🙃

My Verdict 🧐

This charger checks all the right boxes for me. It is an easy recommendation for most everyone: travelers, daily commuters, students, and coffeeshop goers. You simply can’t go wrong with this one!

Disclaimers:

1️⃣ I ended up returning the black color variant of this charger only to replace it with a white one, despite it costing me a couple of bucks more; hence the photos 😅

2️⃣ While shopping for this charger, I compared it to the Anker 523 (model: A2039) and the Spigen GaN III 452. I considered dimensions (including weight), design, and overall value. While each charger I mentioned makes for a good alternative, this Belkin charger was my overall winner, with Spigen as the runner-up 🤓

3️⃣ Why 45 watts? 🤔 In my experience, once you go above 45 watts, you end up with diminishing returns, trying to balance gains in charging speed with overheating and the risk of damaging your devices. I would say that 20 watts is plenty to quickly charge your iPhone and top off your iPad. 30 watts will keep your MacBook Air juiced up. 45 watts or greater is MacBook Pro territory.
