I did quite a bit of research on a wall outlet expander prior to buying this one. I also returned the first couple of models that I bought because of their flimsy quality. The features I was looking for were 1) it stays securely in the wall outlet 2) plenty of space between sockets 3) ability to plug multiple three prong plugs in and 4) surge protection. This Belkin six outlet expander met all requirements, and did so perfectly. Excellent build quality (feels very sturdy/substantial, plug stays firmly in place with both a screw in option and by using both outlets in the wall, and I can plug multiple large plugs in with no issues at all (all six outlets swivel to create additional space, though I did not need that feature to have my plugs fit easily). Awesome product. I usually don’t take time to write reviews, but this fit the bill so perfectly that I wanted to share. If it helps, I have the following devices plugged in now; 1) iPad (and this plug is a monster) 2) iPhone (also bulky) 3) three prong plug for my HP laptop 4) alarm clock 5) three prong plug for fan. The sheer weight of these plugs would make most adapters unstable, but even without the screw, this one stays firmly on the wall.
I have no hesitation to recommend this to others, and i plan on using this as a stocking stuffer this coming Xmas because it’s so good.

This is a great device that not only protects your connected equipment, but also provides protection coverage should your equipment be damage by a surge. However, you should read all of the details of protection coverage on any type of surge protection device from any manufacturer. My main objective in purchasing this device was to allow me to connect multiple AC adapters (transformers) to one outlet. Due to the pivoting heads, This device allowed me to connect four transformers and two regular plugs to the protector. Add in the added surge protection and Belkin had the exact product that I was looking for. I have 4 of these around the house, the oldest two have been in use for almost two years without any problems. The protection circuit uses two lights on the front to show that it is operating properly. As long as both the red and green light are lit, the device is protecting your equipment. If only one light is on, then a power surge has caused the protector to trip in order to protect your equipment. You then know that it is time to purchase another protector. I have not had one go out yet so I guess I have been pretty lucky as far as power surges go. However, knowing that I have the added protection of a surge protector makes me feel a little better.

I bought this to replace a flimsy 3 outlet tap that was not very stable due to the weight of the three wires connected to it. So I purchased this mainly because I can screw it in to the wall outlet. I didn’t realize how hefty and sturdy the unit would be until I received it. Now that it’s screwed in, it ain’t going anywhere. The “individually” pivoting plugs are amazing to use especially in my small garage. It makes the wiring a lot neater when they run along the wall and not protruding out. I find individually pivoting plugs is more flexible to use than those other ones where the entire side (of 3 outlets) pivots. This way I can have things that need to be permanently connected plugged from the side, while my power tools are plugged facing the front on demand.
The unit is a quite a big larger than the wall outlets themselves and does cover up both outlets (which is not a problem since this gives you 6 outlets). So this is something to consider if there is not a lot of room near the outlet you plan to install this in.

Muy buen producto. Es un lujo tener este tipo de adaptadores bien pensados desde el diseño. Al poder girar sus conectores, no tiene problemas con esos enchufes o conectores que son enormes y cuando pones uno al lado del otro ya no puedes utilizar todas las entradas.. Con este producto puedes conectar y utilizar todas sus entradas gracias a su diseño. Aparte es de buen material y resiste el uso con voltajes altos como microondas o cafeteras expreso. This is the sturdiest UPS providing that you’re OK with removing the faceplate to provide the grounding for it. It has a hard plastic case it’s very sturdy it mounts very flush with the wall and it provides lots of extra outlets And it’s flexible in how you can position each new item that you connect to it because the plugs rotate back-and-forth. Would recommend again for those that don’t mind having to remove the face plate to mounts to the wall outlet.

This thing is so awesome and inexpensive I should buy a couple more. I live is an area that has power surges everytime the wind blows so having this is kind of necessary. Has six outlets that will fit 6 plugs, even with some of the larger ones. (Because the outlets swivel) Anyway, super easy to install but don’t remove your existing electrical plate as is suggested or it will be unstable. Just take the screw out of the center of your regular plate, slap this one on top and use the long screw that comes with the unit to secure it. *Update* I own three of these now because the wind just has to blow to get a power surge here. Anyway, the original is still working great as are the other two and the adjustable outlets have been super convenient because I use just about every one of them. I cannot believe the price is so low, so, I try and grab one every order, if possible.

I’m well pleased with the Belkin Pivot Wall Mount Surge Protector. It’s very well made and fit nicely under my kitchen cabinet behind my coffee maker. The surge protector I replaced was a 6-plug model that simply plugged in over the existing outlet cover. The plug-in ports faced toward the front causing the 3 cords I kept plugged in to get tangled & take up workspace on the countertop. Also the entire surge protector came out of the electrical socket whenever a single cord was unplugged. Thankfully I no longer have those problems. The Belkins Wall Mount surge protector replaces the existing cover & screws directly to the wall receptacle. There is a countersunk screw already in the new unit. I backed it out a bit, plugged the surge protector into the wall receptacle then tightened the screw back in place. The Pivoting plugs are great! I rotated them 90 degrees to the sides so now all 3 appliance cords are hidden behind my coffeemaker freeing up workspace on the countertop . No more tangled cords! The remaining 3 plugs are easy to access for all the other electrical kitchen tools that I use periodically but don’t leave plugged in. I really like the cords being flush to the wall; it’s a very practical design. The unit has 2 indicator lights: green for Protected and red for grounded. It does not have a reset switch which would be nice but isn’t an issue for me since it’s downline from a GFCI receptacle that trips if overloaded. The Belkin 6-Outlet Surge Protector comes with a lifetime warranty and a $50,000 Connected Equipment Warranty. Some reviewers said the company only honors this with a valid receipt so I made sure to print and file the invoice just in case I need it in the future. I’m very happy with the product & really love the pivoting plugs. It’s so reasonably priced I am considering getting a second one to use in my basement workshop so I do recommend it & yes, I would buy it again.

It was working normally at the beginning. I had three small appliances plugged in – a kettle, an air fryer, and a rice cooker. It was fine to use two of them at the same time. However, when I used all three at once, it stopped working. There was no reset key, so it was completely broken.

I wanted a better options for plugging electronics in behind my wall mounted tv. The design is great. It screws into the outlet cover to help keep the strip in the outlet and on the wall. Some of the outlets rotate different directions. I’m considering buying another for other uses
