Acheté ce câble pour un Huawei P20 Pro. J’ai choisi Belkin plutôt qu’un pack de 2 ou 3 câbles USB C moins chers mais moins performants et fiables.
En effet, le Huawei P20 Pro bénéficie de la charge rapide ( environ 1h30) et son câble d’origine est en 5A.
Celui de Belkin n’est qu’en 3A mais à le mérite d’être certifié, alors que d’autres vendeurs ont du 5A non certifié et à l’usage, on se rend compte qu’on a tout juste en réel du 2.5A en charge…
Bref côté qualité de fabrication, le câble n’est pas tressé, mais il est épais tout en restant assez souple, les finitions sont bonnes, les jointures sont parfaites sur le miens et à l’usage il fait le travail.
L’emballage est simple, sans fioriture, aucun accessoire, le câble et son serre-câble voilà tout (visible sur ma 1ère photo).
J’espère qu’il me durera au moins la garantie (2 ans) car il faut l’avouer, avec nos smartphone l’usage est assez sévère.

Belkin’s USB Type-C to USB Type-A Charge and Data cable is excellent. This cable meets the USB Type C Specification, meaning it correctly identifies as “Default USB Power” as per the USB Type C Specification Section 4.11. Other cables (see my reviews) use incorrect CC termination to identify the cable incorrectly to the device it charges. This cable is safe to use with all of your USB Type C devices and legacy Type-A ports.
This cable as as good as the ones that Apple and Google provide with and sell on their stores as accessories. The one downside is that the cable is $19.99, which is the same price as the Google one, for example. The advantage of Belkin, though, is that it is not perpetually sold out like the 1st party cables.
Buy this cable if you want a reliable cable that is practically the same as a 1st party cable from Google or Apple.

Endlich mal ein Ladekabel das auch hält, was es verspricht! Das Kabel hat die angegebene Länge und funktioniert seit Wochen ohne Probleme. Selbst dem Kabelgeruckel eines Teenagers hält es stand. Das war bei den letzten Kabeln meiner Tochter zum heulen. Wir sind begeistert.

This cable is pretty awesome. It is the only usb type-c to type-a cable that I have seen with USB-IF certification, which ensures your cable won’t fry your expensive device. I bought it to use with my Nintendo Switch console, and it charges while playing the new Skyrim port, when paired with my Aukey 5v/2.4a wall adapter. I haven’t tested it with Breath of the Wild yet, but I doubt the power draw will be much more than Skyrim. I have seen quite a few people complain in reviews about cables or adapters that won’t charge the switch, but they either bought a bad cable or were using an under-powered charger. Pair this with a 2.4 amp DC power source, and it should charge whatever handheld device you want. Your mileage may vary, and it won’t likely charge any laptops due to the reasonable power limits on cables and chargers, which are what keep your devices safe.

I learned from reading up a bit on USB-C cables that the world of USB cables has changed in the transition to USB-C. No longer is it just the quality of the cable itself that matters. There are several different power/speed tiers in the USB-C specifications.
Higher performance cables cost more, especially for the longer ones. I’d say to buy a cable of decent quality which supports the speed and power requirements of the device it is to be used with. I know and trust Belkin, especially for cables and such.
The charger used must also meet the needs of the device, although a low-powered charger would probably still be able to slow-charge the device.

This 6ft cable met all my expectations! I was looking for a charging cable that was USB-IF certified (just to be sure it will work properly and not damage my devices), and this product fits the bill. It was recommended by Wirecutter after they did quite a lot of testing.
It’s a good length for use at home or in the office, I wanted a cable I can use to charge my phone while I’m sitting on the couch, and this gives me flexibility to lounge without having to stay so close to the power outlet. The cable feels sturdy and durable, I think this will last a long time (I have Belkin brand audio cables that are still working after over 10 years of use, so I have no doubt that their products are durable). It’s a bit long for use while traveling, I prefer to pack 3ft cables since they are easier to use in tight spots like in the car or on planes. But this cable does feel durable enough to throw in a bag and travel with.
Overall, for the price I paid (~$10) I’m very happy. This feels just as high quality as the cables I have from Google and Anker (and actually feels like better quality than some Apple cables). If you are looking for a 6ft USB-C cable for charging, this is a great choice. If you want one for data transferring, look for a USB 3.0 model, which will have faster data speeds. But if you just need a cable for charging, this is perfect.

Another great product from Belkin.
I bought these to use with a couple Amazon Basics USB 3 Powered hubs I ordered at the same time. They work great together. I also ordered a couple Anker USB 3 to USB C canles, which are also great.
I use the short cables to plug the Powered Hub into the host device, and the longer cables to attach devices to the hub. Transfer speeds are great!
This is a great product.

These are my go-to cables for replacements. Belkin cords are well made, sturdy, durable, and do not cause any issues with my phone battery, functionality and I love the long length. I purchased these for my mom, and I also purchased more locally for myself since the six for length is ideal for use in my vehicle hands-free in a phone holder (my Jeep is older and does not have Bluetooth), easy to charge with enough length to reach my nightstand, and if needed, can use while charging from the couch if I forgot to charge for a few days. Hands down the best brand for cords. I highly recommend to anyone needed a replacement or a longer cord (works with my speed charge block and works with a lightning block).

This review is for the Belkin 6-Foot 2.0 USB-A to USB Type C. The cable works perfectly well for charging my Nexus 5X off my 2.1A chargers. That’s as powerful a charger I have with the old school USB socket. I have a lot of those 2.1A chargers. Must look for stronger ones…
I have not tested to see if I can safely use this cable to charge a device other than my Nexus 5X. For example, the USB-C plug fits into my fancy new USB-C wall wart. I -could- use adapters to then charge my older tablets/phones having micro or mini USB connectors. I don’t know if its safe to do so and don’t want to risk my devices in a test. Such is life.
As for quality and all that, thank goodness for Benson Leung, the google engineer who has been testing USB-C cables, chargers, and adapters to confirm that they comply with the USB-C standard. It looks like these Belkin cables are fine by him.
