Benny Bradley’s Upgraded Invisible Baby Proofing Latch Locks Description
- UPGRADED VERSION – taking to heart feedback from our customers, this new version features a longer hook arm that works even in kitchens with countertop overhangs. It also has greater adhesive surface area for greater security!
- EASY FOR ADULTS TO OPEN, SECURE AGAINST KIDS – The locks can handle at least 20lbs of pull tension, more than enough to keep cabinets locked against kids. Meanwhile, parents and adults can easily open locked cabinets with one press against the spring-loaded latch, without any need for special keys or magnets.
- EASY AND DAMAGE-FREE INSTALLATION – No tools required! These are installed using strong 3M adhesives. You won’t need to drill holes and screws into your cabinets, drawers and cupboards, and the adhesives can be removed without leaving marks. This is especially useful for renters. Your furniture won’t have to be damaged to protect your curious children.
- INVISIBLE DESIGN – unlike other magnetic and knob locks, these locks are hidden behind your cabinet and furniture doors, and hidden away from your curious children’s attention. Your kitchen and furniture will look just as beautiful without obtrusive safety devices interfering with its aesthetics.
- ONE SIZE FITS ALL – these latches will fit your cabinetry whether they have crossbars or not, and regardless of size. For cabinets without crossbars, the supplied buckles will lock the latches in place.

We recently got these to baby proof our kitchen and bathroom cabinets and I can say that we are very pleased with them. They are super easy to install and are able to keep our little one from getting into the cabinets. The locks seems durable even when our little one tugs at the cabinet doors. Very pleased with our purchase.

When I babyproofed my house, I originally installed a bunch of magnetic babyproof locks in the kitchen but it ended up being a huge hassle to open each one individually when I needed to get in the cabinet (ESPECIALLY my trash cabinet). I bought these latch locks hoping to make access easier for the adults in the house and this is my review/comparison between the two.
They are a decent price, reviews are pretty good for this particular brand, WAY easier to install than the magnetic locks, adhere very well and none have fallen off, open easy enough for adults but my 1 year old can’t figure them out, and they’re made of sturdy plastic.
The installation was super easy for me because there is a lip on top of all my cabinets so I didn’t need to install the lip brackets that came with it. I can access my trash so much easier than before which was the main reason for getting these. I even messed up one, peeled it off, restuck it, and it’s holding on super well so the adhesion is excellent and it didn’t damage my cabinet when I peeled it off.
The only con is that the cabinet opens up a bit so you can access the lock mechanism. So my daughter occasionally pinches her fingers in the drawer when she’s extra determined to get into one. Not a deal breaker but you just need to keep an eye on your kiddos if they are playing in the kitchen.
I HIGHLY recommend these if you are looking to babyproof but still have easy access to your drawers/cabinets. I’ll update my review if I run into any issues.
Hope this helps!

These child safety cabinet “locks” get the job done. Even as our child will continuously pull the doors open and shut. We have them installed on both drawers and doors. Tips: clean the area where you intend to apply the adhesive (preferably with alcohol). Only attempt sticking once. If you make a mistake and try pulling it off to reapply, it impacts the strength. For drawers that have space consider installing on the side (see picture). Finally we found the adhesive was too strong when we tried to remove. We actually applied a piece of scotch tape to the adhesive (see picture) which we found helps when removing without sacrificing the strength.

Not sure how effective this is with babies/children but it’s great for keeping the cat out of the cabinets. I also like that it’s hidden inside the cabinet. I personally dislike the visible baby-proofing, it looks so tacky and ruins the outside of the cabinets. These are easy to install and remove. I was surprised at how well the glue holds up once you install them. You can also remove them by using a hairdryer to soften the sticky back and then pull off the plastic latch.

These do the job, and the QR code on the package was very helpful for installation purposes. The only complaint I have is the backing to the sticky side is extremely difficult to remove.

Easy to install. Adhesion is strong and locks stay in place. Using it for my twins who are just starting to crawl and explore around the house. Nice to know they wonโt be hurting their fingers and digging through my stuff. Perfect and convenient

Glad we chose this as they are well made and work smoothly. I say this with confidence after having tried similar ones bought on Aliexpress. While similarly designed those did not work as smoothly and didn’t even cost much less. These stick very well, to the point of being crazy hard to remove if you had to relocate them. Our 2 year old is probably not at the stage where she’ll challenge these too much and she moves onto something else when the door does not open. It’ll be quite a while before she learns to defeat these. Very satisfied ๐

We are very happy with these hidden childproof brackets. In every instance, we did not install the second piece on the top of the cabinet. The hook just used the inside of the cabinet doorway and works great! They’re easy to install and easy to use.

This works pretty great. I like this compared to the magnet ones since itโs more convenient. The only thing is, I wish it was more adhesive. I can pull it off with a little bit of effort.

I bought these to prevent my 1-year old from getting into some kitchen cabinets. In my previous home I had used the magnetic type locks which I like a lot but I didnโt like having to worry about where the magnet to unlock the cabinets were so I decided to try this kind instead. They were very easy to install, and so far they have stuck on very well and have not been ripped out. It does leave more of a gap when my child tries to pull open the door than the magnetic ones did – it has to in order for you to be able to slip your finger in to depress the latch – so there is still a bit of a hazard that little fingers could get caught. You do have to press the latch down to unlock and open the door (straight down!), as well as when you want to close the door, so closing the door isnโt as easy as just slamming it shut and walking away. Overall I am happy with the product though and I like supporting a small, friendly Canadian company ๐

These baby proofing latches are amazing. Iโve had them for about a month so far. I wasnโt sure about going with a company that isnโt a big brand name, but Iโm thrilled I got these ones, so I figured I would post a review in case anyone else was also hesitant. Here is a summary of my thoughts:
-They are strong and stick well: my super strong persistent 2 year old tries to open the cupboards and drawers daily, by putting all his weight into it and pulling repeatedly. The locks havent budged at all despite lots of abuse!
-they fit anywhere: we have odd cupboards and drawers, so I thought they would only work with a few of the cupboards, but with the extra depth on these latches we were able to mount them on every single cupboard and drawer
-convenient system: I love that these donโt have a โkey and magnetโ system- we would definitely lose the key, and with these itโs already second nature to open the clip. It doesnโt feel like a hassle to unlock the cupboard.
-they donโt damage the cupboard: this is actually the second system I bought- the first one required drilling into the cupboard, and on the first attempt my husband split the cupboard door (which is surprising as he is very handy). So I love that with this system there is no chance of damaging the cupboards.
-good price: you get plenty of locks for a very reasonable cost.
-easy to install. It seriously took maybe 5 min to do all cupboards and drawers.

I bought these to keep my son out of things until we could upgrade our kitchen cupboards and get the screw-in type.
Unfortunately I had painted my cupboards some time ago (they’re very old, plywood type cupboards) and despite following the directions exactly they did not stick to the doors. They come off and take all of the paint with it.
A good price for the product and after re-sticking them to the now-unpainted wood they have worked great so far, and my son is very rough with them.

These are a great design & function perfectly! I didnโt like the gimmicky designs of the magnetic locks or the ugly external locks so this was the perfect design for us. Itโs easy to hide within the cupboard/drawer, very simple for an adult to use & easy to install (just peel & stick!). Iโm quite impressed with how strong the adhesive is & because itโs a gel-like substance it has a little bit of flex to it so it seems less likely to pull off! Our baby girl is only 9 months old right now so weโll have to see if she figures this latch out at some point but it definitely does the trick for now, she hasnโt been able to get into any of the drawers & cupboards weโve put them on. I really like how the opening mechanism is spring-loaded rather than simply bending the plastic as I believe it will have a longer lifespan but will update this review if they fail prematurely.
