Mary –
While not particularly durable, these perches worked well for my conures. They were relatively straightforward to install and came with the screws already drilled in, unlike some others I’ve gotten off of Amazon. They are well sized for smaller conures, cockatiels, and other parrots of that size, but I think they are probably too big for smaller birds like budgies and lovebirds and they are definitely too small for anything like an Amazon, cockatoo, or macaw. As far as value goes, this isn’t an incredible deal but there are also far worst ones out there.
Lenoir –
These perches are nice quality wood and hardware. Everything is put together well. I like that they’re all varying sizes, so bird’s feet get good exercise. Our 25 yo cockatiel just doesn’t like them. I think it’s just because he’s too set in his ways at his age. I will keep trying the different perches and see if he ends up liking one or two. These are also designed for a smaller cage.

These perches are great for my bird because of the different sizes and textures. They will be good for him to have bigger and smaller circumferences and textures for him to exercise his feet on and stay nimble moving around on. They will also add interest so it changes things up a bit so he doesn’t get bored.

Between my TAG and Lovebird, the sizes on these perches are just right. They are definitely not sized for something larger than an African gray and are probably best suited to conure size and under. They are natural wood with different textures to keep your birds feet stimulated. I like the way they look and would definitely recommend these for any smaller sized bird owner. A great find!

The perches look great. But somewhere in the manufacturing, they used a size up screw-bolt. However, they sent the same wing nut for a smaller screw-bolt. So one perch is great and it came with the wing it on it. There other 6 perches all need wing nuts, so it’s a trip to Home Depot for me.
And the wing nuts are metric. Took a bit longer to find them (M5 or0.8mm).

If you have birds, extra perches of various sizes and textures are a must. It’s always good to have extras. This is a really nice selection which I immediately added to my birds’ cages and they’re getting good use. Nothing to get really excited about – they’re perches – but they’re accurately pictured and described, are well-made, and have been useful, so that deserves 5 stars. I recommend these for finches up to conure-sized birds. The flat disc ones have been especially helpful for one of my budgies, who is disabled and his feet are too weak to grasp a perch at night while sleeping. The flat surface, attached very low, enables him to rest without being on the bottom of the cage.
