Bissell CleanView Rewind Upright Bagless Vacuum

The suction is really good. So good it’s a bit hard to vacuum the rug that we have. I Love it tho! I feel it’s doing what I expected. Cord length is not as long as I would like, but it’ll do. Very easy to empty and clean. I did buy an extra Bissell filter with Fabreeze. I can’t smell anything. Other than that; it is so worth the low cost.

This was the second vacuum I tried, after having to return a different vacuum. I really like this one so far.
Pros:
– Lightweight but doesn’t fall over when using the wand and hose
– Doesn’t seem like cheap plastic or materials
– Suction power is really strong
– Height adjustment works for all types of carpets and hardwood floors
– It’s quiet
– Easy to maneuver – I could reach spots in my house that I couldn’t before
– The extension wand and hose are long, and the crevice tool fits into small spaces. I also don’t have to bend over as much when I use it, unlike other hoses
– Cord rewind

Cons:
– I wish the brush roll would turn off when using the hose

…..and I’m glad! It’s very powerful, versatile with the handheld tube. It rejects certain things if they shouldn’t go, like a q-tip. I recommend it for a large house, but I live in a small apartment. With the upholstery brush, it could vacuum your car too. There is plenty of suction power for that. Assembly is easy, I didn’t use the manuel. Very long cord, it’s at least 10′, maybe longer. It also seems to dial the suction down a tad if you lock it upright, to move it elsewhere for more vacuuming. Also, plenty of space in the canister for dirt, You shant need to empty it every time. Just periodically. Excellent value.

Former Bissell finally broke after 7 years. It was such a good vacuum I only looked at the Bissell brand to replace it. This vacuum feels very cheap and plasticky. There is a little bit of play in the handle, which does not inspire confidence. It is very loud. You will definitely use your arm a lot to push this thing around the room, it doesn’t really glide which is weird considering it is essentially the same weight as my old one but it certainly doesn’t feel the same while vacuuming. I like the on/off foot button instead of a switch on the side. The accessories seem fairly securely placed, one of them used to fall off my old one all the time. I like that everything is labeled on this one so I can easily remember how to do basic things without looking it up or bumbling through. My main complaint is that this one doesn’t lie completely flat, I used to store my old one under a bed, and this one fits only if I get creative and shove it. It does do a good job cleaning though with adequate suction. The price went up 40% in 7 years for more or less the same (working) model and despite inflation, I don’t see an increased improvement. I don’t love this one like my last one and will look for a new brand once it dies.
