When I ordered this headlamp the description and photos states it has a built in battery and charging port .When I received it the light had neither and the rechargeable battery that can go with it is expensive. So Black Diamond needs to change there description accordingly I’m not sure if it’s a mistake or in reference to another model. Not to happy I have to get the rechargeable battery separately.

Good quality and well worth paying a little extra for the rechargeable version.

It does work but now the battery just drains even when not using, happens maybe on the sixth charge, the leds don’t go out anymore and the battery doesn’t last

I bet you will love this one! Top feature? No flashing or red lights! Yay! One push turns it on, long press dims. Press again & it turns off. When press to turn it on again it remembers last setting. Band is ez to adjust while wearing, weight is comfy & it stays put. I have several by this company and find they work well, last a long time and make me happy. However, always seeking “just a bit better” I try their new ones. This one is a winner. My husband thinks we should take the others (which serve as emergency lights throughout our home, office, storage, car) to Goodwill and replace them with this one. He really loves it.

I have had many head torches in my time but this one is probably the best all round winter. Not the lightest for backpacking but it’s just feels right for general use. Comfortable to wear, looks ok in a unstated way, Great on a bike for DIY walking and camping. The battery lasts forever so no worries on a long off-grid camping trip. Simple to use what’s not to like 🔦

A comfortable head torch with a good adjustable light distribution. I like the fact its re chargeable as well.

Use this daily in our off grid lifestyle 🙂 last ones lasted for hundreds of charge cycles. Saves vast amounts of money on batteries. Always at full power instead of always dead. Buy one 🙂
