Linda Johanssen –
this is inexpensive and brews great coffee. Best part it is no drip. I have tried a bunch over the years, NOTHING with a plastic top with pour spout is worth looking at. Stick to glass, but I have had 2 over the years that dripped one could not pour a cup of coffee because you didn’t know where to put the cup. They would start pouring and then run down the pot and go everywhere.
This unit works, no dripping and inexpensive what else can I say.
price like all things now are higher, first one of these I got on sale at walmart for $19.99 years ago LOL

I’ve had this brand before and liked it as well. Reason for replacement years ago was due to broken carafe. New carafe could not be found so new coffee maker was necessary. Product delivered on time. Easy to set up. Makes coffee quickly and provides good taste. Highly recommended.

Sellers were very good but unfortunately it’s a 110 v coffee machine

As the heading states- yeah- my go-to coffeemaker- I’ve had many through the years. I just wear them out. BUT- the price has nearly doubled, and the lifespan is now half (or less)….Times change…technology you’d think would’ve overcome those things…
Yes, dependable, but after a few months, be ready with a spare machine laying about so you don’t go without (especially in the morning start).
This is for B&D mainly…I don’t use fancy premade cup-thingies that require 100-page manual, and video support. Load the filter, load the water- GO!! The 2-hour auto-shutoff can be annoying (so get a carafe, right?)…just a little saddened that coffee pots are either way too expensive, or quality (lifespan) too short. Times change. Thanks-

In my opinion, this is the best coffee maker. It is not too expensive and has all the features I want. The buttons are in a logical place and easy to use. The clock is led and bright enough. Their is an indicator light for when the automatic brew is on. I like the pot shape and feel and pours nice. The basket removes and cleans easy. Also pauses if you want to pour a cup before the brew is done. I also like the way the water outlet is built in and has a large surface area to cover the grounds. The last one I had lasted over 10 years. Compared to all the other makers, this is my favorite.

sorry very dissappointing experience, when it was switched on we were able to see the displayes , but the hot plat was not worhing.

A great coffee machine. In my opinion, it makes better coffee than keurig machines and is cheaper overall. Simple and easy to use. Basket and pot can be easily cleaned through dishwasher.

The hot plate keeps the coffee hot. Nice size for counter. Good brewing flavour.

After years of using only Mr. Coffee, low end to middle of the road models, this is different. I chose it
because with my very hard water, I did not want some “permanent” filter system. I also happen to own
many of the basket style paper filters. This model has a removeable filter basket that uses the flat bottom basket style of paper filter.
The carafe has markings that do not agree with the side of the machine when it says 12 the machine says 10. I like the carafe for pouring well and having a very comfortable handle.
The on switch turns on a green light, that is obvious, assuming you are not standing too far to the side.
The clear panel to see the amount of water are only on the right side which for me is a problem. This make no sense because the most open side to pour the water is on the left. Where my coffee machine is located it is very hard to see the right side. I’m used to makers with water viewing ports on both sides. Being black in color, in a dimly lit early morning kitchen, the water level when looking down inside is impossible to see.
The next negative seems like a major design flaw. The lid collects FAR more condensation and moisture than any Mr. Coffee I’ve owned. The lid has no lip or inside rim to sit down into the reservoir as my Mr. Coffee had. ALL the water on this lid runs out the back, down the machine and onto
the counter top! I have found a partial solution, which is to crack the lid the night before and let some
evaporate overnight. It is not a perfect solution however.
The next negative is, unlike Mr. Coffee where there is a rotating arm that holds that basket down, the only thing holding this basket down is the lid. It has a bit of a molded in catch but I am sure if and when the lid warps from heat, it is unlikely it will catch.
While the grab a cup pause feature is designed to work via a spring on the bottom of the filter basket, this one does not work as well as all the Mr. Coffee ones did. This one always drops coffee on the hot plate to sizzle and burn on. Not cool
I probably would not buy this again.

I discovered that a comment from someone else is true. The cup markings on the water fill tank are inaccurate, which can affect the taste, because of the water-coffee ratio is inaccurate for good coffee. I suggest your measuring the water using a Pyrex or other reliable liquid measuring cup, pour the water into the tank, mark where 8 or whatever cups are on the tank. This makes a huge difference, and the coffee tastes better.
