Fit smaller than other models. Will have to return. A very nice boot otherwise

These boots are great, strong, slightly stiff and very comfortable in the souls. Takes a little to break in but thats most boots. Im an electrician and these have been the perfect boots for me while working in most job sites. If you do alot of roof climbing these might not be the best choice. All in all I recommend. Just remember they are sized Australian so order a size smaller. I wear a 9.5 or 10 in vans, I ordered a 8.5 in these boots and they fit correct.

I’m in fire and EMS so I wear these in 12-24 hour increments at a minimum. For years, I have been wearing Bates side zipper boots thinking they were the best out there. Boy was I wrong. These are a little more expensive, but they are worth every penny. They are so comfortable! When I first put them on when they came, I thought they felt way too loose because of the lack of laces. After about 10 minutes, my mind was changed and I have loved them ever since. They slip on easy, they slip off easy. The side of the ankles are an elastic material so it stretches as needed to assist in removal. There are also finger holes on the front and back of the boot so you have something to grab on to. With my Bates, the steel toes would always get dinged up so quickly. These have a toe similar to my structural fire boot and only show a few minor dings after months of use. The few dings are more of scuffs as opposed to the steel which would show in the Bates. The comfort level is also incomparable.

This is my second pair of Blunnies. My first pair lasted nearly ten years, they were the classic type (Model 500? 550?). I wore them all day at work at a hospital job, on my feet, as well as daily at our stables, doing farm work. The only trouble was the occasional tool, log, hoof, landing on my foot. They were great in shallow mud, snow, and wet grass. I liked having one shoe for everything, just get up in the morning and slip ’em on. But the toes were getting the occasional contusion… so I purchased this model as a replacement and they are just as comfortable in terms of the foot bed. But the steel toe really adds weight. They are still my daily shoe at home, unless I intend to do longer walks, in which case they are too heavy for lots of walking at the hospital. I did wear them on a recent trip to see family back home in Indiana, and they were great as we didn’t walk a lot. These have held up well against log falls when wood cutting, and the tread is much more aggressive and improved for walking slopes in the forest compared to my prior Blunnies. In conclusion, same great comfy footbed, slightly looser feel (because the toe box is bigger?), improved traction, great toe protection, love the slip-on, but heavy for walking distance.

My husband has been wearing them for 4 years. I buy him a pair every Black Friday. It runs half a size big.

I hit the reorder tab as I had ordered these same boots a year or so ago. What I got was a size bigger than last time. They sent me a 10 and I am a 9 in UK/AU sizing. Also very confused what the difference is between the X-foot rubber and the Work 990. The return process was also confusing. I ended up just sending them UPS through our work account After committing to $6 for UPS to show up. The label they sent me to print out was not complete.
I do love these boots they are super comfy and offer toe protection as I am a welder. I am getting a new pair because my wife says they stink and doesnt want them around the house anymore. Ha! Ha! At this point I guess I will reorder the boots manually to insure that I get the size that I ordered and will get the Work 990.
Remember to order a size smaller than your US sizing. I am a 10 US and A 9 AU/UK

I have been a Firefighter for 4 years, I have worn the Redback slip ons and preferred my Pro warrington zip ups instead because of the support and the “boot feel” over the Redbacks. I Loved the idea of the Redbacks because I wanted a true slip on duty boot but always hated how loose and floppy they felt. I had seen the Blundstones and loved the fact they had a Toe Cap and decided it was worth it to try (VERY GLAD I DID). All i can say is WOW!!! They fit FAR better than the Redbacks ever did, They have plenty of ankle support which helps give you that “boot feel”, and the Elastic at the opening feels stronger than that of the Redbacks. Lastly, they have a lot better sole than the redbacks and more traction. I would HIGHLY recommend them to any firefighter or any tradesman for that matter looking for a high quality comfortable boot.

too small, great shipping though

For some reason this is the only seller I have been able to find able to ship this style of blundstones to Canada and as a work boot these are far superior to other available styles. From Kevlar stitching to the rubber overmolding on toe and heel the details have been worked out. Only suggestion would be to buy some arch support insoles with them.
