The fridge looks as shown in the pictures and isn’t too noisy, at least for the time being while room temperature isn’t that much warmer than 55 degrees. Every now and then it’ll reset and get a bit louder so is noticeable for about 5 minutes, but I guess even regular fridges aren’t completely silent all the time.
It also fits the number of bottles it says it will, however, I’m sure most people don’t have standard Bordeaux style bottles in their collection, so you likely won’t get 52 of your bottles in. I have a few tall Barolos and a few wider base Pinot Noirs which throw things off on a few shelves, but where I have standard size / shape bottles, the shelves nicely fit 8 bottles each.
My issue with the fridge which is what resulted in the 3 star review is the door handle. It arrives unattached from the main unit which I understand is to reduce the risk of it being broken off during shipping. However, the metal of the inner door frame to which it’s secured has two issues: 1) an error was made in manufacturing my unit, and the hole for the fastener (machine screw in this case) was cut too wide for the washer meaning it will slip right through that hole and won’t tighten the door handle; 2) the metal used for the door is so soft, that even if you get a wider washer or other washer substitute, the metal will just bend when you try to tighten the handle. Given that it’s not a small item and probably a pain to return, I tried to find a workaround, but it did take away from my satisfaction with the unit. If you’re generally not comfortable with a screwdriver and find you have the same issue, just send it back. Don’t make the manufacturers problem your problem.
Not sure if this indicates other areas of weakness in the manufacturing of the fridge but will just have to hope not for the time being.

It’s been a good wine fridge as I’ve had it about three years. No mechanical issues. The issue I have had is high moisture. I had the fridge in my garage in GA for over a year until I moved to AL. I noticed mold growing on the wood shelves. I’d take the shelves out and treat the wood with bleach and water. After moving it to AL on the coast high moisture became a major issue. Sometimes it would be as high as 90%. Mold even grew on the paper on some bottles. I have a dehumidifier that runs at all times to keep humidity at. 45%. Having the dehumidifier close by doesn’t help. I ended up putting a small dehumidifier inside the unit which means I had to rake out two shelves dramatically reducing the amount of wine I can put in the fridge. The dehumidifier inside the fridge is the only thing that helps. If I were buying a new one I’d look for one with humidity control.

We purchased this after our existing wine fridge was taken out by lightning.
Overall it’s a great fridge for the money. It’s a single zone, so we keep mostly white wines in it. Although it will hold larger bottles such as champagne bottles, only the top shelf holds them by default. You can take out other shelves so that bubbly will fit, but you’ll be able to put fewer bottles in it.
Overall we’ve been very pleased with this one fridge!

I was worried when I saw several buyers complaining about noisy operation and/or products damaged in transit, but my unit arrived intact in great shape, and is quiet when it runs. The packaging was very impressive. We had a very tight vertical clearance issue under our counter, and the unit wouldn’t fit, even when the leveling feet were at their minimum height. We replaced the factory-supplied feet with lug bolts that reduced the height by 3/8″, so it would fit under the counter. It’s been running in place for three days without any issues.

The item I received is different than advertised in the photos, the bottom isn’t as sleek-looking. Since I had bought this based on the aesthetics, this bothers me quite a bit, but I do like the rest of the wine cooler. It definitely does its job. It’s not as quiet as I thought, and the wifi didn’t work, so I almost returned it. I contacted BODEGA and described the issues. They were very professional in their response and addressed my concerns. After a few weeks of use now, I can say it’s kept my wine in great condition, and I do love the double glass pane doors, as well as the controls on top, and the blue light. But really, what gave me confidence in this product is the customer service. You may never need to contact them, but know that if you do, they stand by their product and provide excellent customer service.

This wine fridge has a really nice design – the metal rim with the black colour for the rest of the fridge makes it look sleek and blends in surprisingly well with my house. The glass is tinted so it looks nicer in my opinion to not have such a bright light from the wine fridge. The wooden shelves also makes it look more homey rather than just having a industrial vibe fridge. The noise isn’t too much – just imagine your standard fridge, it’s not too loud. If you have money to spare and are looking for a wine fridge then I would definitely recommend this.

This fridge does not hold anywhere near as many bottles as it says it does or shows in the photo. The wood drawers are very poorly made and they do not pull out when wine is stored on them. I have placed normal sized red wine bottles on the shelves and if you place a few bottles on each shelf, the drawers do not pull out. They designed the inside and the shelves in an attempt to be able to stay it can hold 52 bottles but in the process, put the shelves too close together. I am having to hire someone to try and redo or make new shelves to actually make this wine fridge function. Only buy this wine fridge if you plan on storing your wine but not actually being able to access them. I wanted to return this fridge right away but couldn’t fathom how to deal with getting it to a shipping location especially since you basically have to destroy the box to get the fridge out and set up.
