So tiny, not like the old days with the long strips. Well worth the amount of money to get this shredder. Love it. Hope it lasts a long time.

Pros : Shreds paper into tiny pieces. Doesn’t jam. Quieter than the others. It works beyond 5 minutes continuously, before required cooldown. At a reasonable price.
Cons : It’s small.

Great little shredder. I wanted this shredder to fit in a small space, the measurements given were accurate and it fits perfectly. It is a quiet, fast and shreds in tiny pieces. Just what I wanted, needed, I recommend this product!

Works well; quiet, compact, shreds the paper into tiny little bits that nobody would be able to piece together in a thousand years. Seems sturdy enough, easy to operate. I’ve only put a couple hundred sheets through it so far, haven’t had any issues with heat or needed a cool down period. Easily shreds 4 sheets of copy paper, I haven’t tried it with more than that. I also haven’t put staples or paper clips through it – nor will I. I know the specs say it will work, but why tempt fate? This is a good, affordable, compact personal shredder for light- to medium work.

Me quedé sorprendido con el resultado obtenido con el triturado ya que no queda como las convencionales en tiras sino que quedan en cuadraditos de 3x3mm… Además es muy resistente ya que estuve por casi una hora metiendo cartulinas plastificadas de 30x40cm en grupos de tres sin atranques y sobrecalentamiento …Al final acabé regalandola y en breve me compraré otra…Lo negativo es que tiene poca capacidad de almacenaje del picado pero es ideal para uso casero… Lo recomiendo

 Let me start by saying that I received a brand-new model with the foam blocks and all. Box looked to be untouched. Some people complained about receiving a used model, not my case.

So this is a really nice shredder, especially for the price! I cannot believe that shredders are so expensive.. but security these days is a must! Please don’t throw away your papers as is, invest in a shredder!!

First, the appearance. It looks like your everyday office appliance BUT it’s attractive! I know some companies try to set their products apart from others and ‘pop’.. but they’re so ugly! This one is simple and streamline. The shred level window is really useful! Once the paper reaches the top of it, it’s time to empty into a bag! You’d swear it costs WAY more than just 32 bucks! I wouldn’t mind leaving this one out in plain sight although.. someone might steal it! So hide it!

Speaking of hiding it.. it’s a nice size. Big enough to shred a lot, small enough to hide it!

Second, instructions. Very simple booklet came with the shredder. The Amazon product description says you can shred credit cards, but the booklet says you SHOULD NOT shred credit cards. I shredded a couple of insurance cards, no problem. Just don’t stick anything TOO thick in there. Remember guys, you get what you pay for! Don’t complain if it breaks! Honestly though, it chewed through it like a Toyota Land Cruiser in mud. Smooth.

Third, Performance. This thing shreds FAST! It’ll go through a sheet of paper in just 4-5 seconds. The machine comes pre-lubed but make sure you buy some oil and give it the love it needs every 500-800 sheets or 3 months. Remember folks, this is a SIX SHEET shredder, make sure you don’t choke it up! I haven’t had a single slow-down, jam, or overheat and I’m going through a dump load of personal info. I’m talking more than 500 sheets! Also, it does cross cut very well. This one doesn’t have those ejecting blades, rather, the cross cutting is built into the rows of blades in the form of spikes. Talk about reliable design in a compact package!

The shredder is not loud, but don’t use it in a quiet place where people might be sleeping. It’s quiet in the day, but loud at night if that makes sense. It’s a shredder! What do you expect!

Fourth, safety. The paper insert slit is deep, so your kids’ fingers won’t reach the blades. Still, keep it away from them as when the shredder is lifted, the blades are exposed and can really turn into an ugly situation. Don’t attempt to clean the blades with your fingers, I almost cut myself. Use a brush or gently pick out the excess paper using a spring-loaded needle nose plier. Remember: it’s a machine, NOT a toy!!

Fifth: energy savings. If you’re looking for this, go burn your papers. Paper shredders aren’t really that efficient in general.

Please do not attempt to make a salad with this machine. It’s not for any kind of organic materials.
