I upgraded from 2x Soundlink Flexs to this speaker and this is the best bluetooth speaker I’ve ever owned. It’s great, but I don’t know if it justifies the hefty price tag. I feel like at $399 this would sell a lot more. If I did not have a gift card and had to pay full price, I don’t think I could justify the cost, as good as the speaker is.

This speaker has the sound I was expecting from the smaller sound link speakers. I bought 2 of the smaller ones, which made decent sound when linked together. I was under the impression that you would be able to link all 3 of them, but you can only link 2 speakers at a time. It would have been great if you could link all 3 together. All in all, a great speaker.

I just got the Bose SoundLink Max Speaker, and it’s awesome! From the moment I opened the box, I knew it was going to be great. Sound: The sound quality is amazing. Whether I’m jamming to some chill acoustic tunes or blasting dance music, it sounds perfect. The bass is strong but doesn’t drown out the other sounds, which stay clear and crisp. Look: It’s got a sleek and modern look that fits nicely in any room. It’s also pretty solid and easy to move around, so no worries about it getting damaged. Battery: The battery life is fantastic. It easily lasts over 12 hours on one charge, even when I play it loud. Perfect for parties, BBQs, or just a music-filled day. Connection: Connecting via Bluetooth is super easy and the connection is stable. I can move around my house without losing signal. Plus, the built-in mic is handy for clear calls. Extras: It’s water-resistant (IPX4), which is great for outdoor use. I also love the voice prompts that tell me the battery level and pairing status. Overall: The Bose SoundLink Max Speaker rocks! It’s a bit pricey, but totally worth it. If you’re looking for a top-notch portable speaker, you should definitely get this one.

First off the presentation is fantastic. The brushed rubber shell does collect fingerprints/stains but it just as easily sheds them with a swipe. This allows for a better grip. The front grill screams premium quality that you come to expect with the BOSE name. The included handle feels sturdy and makes you eager to try out the long shoulder strap that will truly make you portable and be able to carry hands free sound. The entire unit, about the size of a football, feels incredibly well made. It is heavy, dense, and very substantial. You would not be brushing it over, or knocking it off the table easily. Minor splashes in the kitchen setting while im preparing food have easily been cleaned off and leave no residual mark. The bluetooth connection is seemless and easily connects across multiple devices. The app allows for quick preset configurations such as treble boost that makes conversations in movies clear as day, while bass boost literally shakes your body with glorious vibrations. However, the reason to choose this product over the competitors is how loud it can get with the addition of BOSE famous clarity of sound. The loudness is similar to expensive alternatives that are much bigger in size. However the clarity and richness of BOSE is undeniable and incomparable. I filled my 3400 sq ft home with full sound and didn’t even turn it up to the highest level for fear of disturbing my neighbor’s peace. There was no rattle or crackle at that level which is the best mark of quality materials. My favorite setting to use is when I’m in the yard gardening and watering the plants. Once my shoulder strap arrives. I’m sure Ill just be able to carry it around as i work without having to reposition it at all. All in all, this is a premium device that you are paying for high quality materials and even higher quality sound. Bose did not disappoint! It can be the perfect small footprint travel companion to offer premium home theater sound while streaming or big party speaker sound to a whole room or outdoor patio/deck with power to spare.

I recently got the Bose SoundLink Max, and it’s amazing. True to Bose’s reputation for high-quality audio, this portable Bluetooth speaker delivers impressive sound and packs a huge punch.
Although Party Mode doesn’t work yet, I’ve read that it’s going to be in a future firmware update. I mainly use this speaker while showering, and I’ve never had to turn up the volume to max (approximately 50%). The sound is powerful and fills the room effortlessly. It’s almost too loud for an indoor speaker. The bass, in particular, is outstanding – something I felt was missing in Bose’s previous products. This addition makes a huge difference and elevates the overall listening experience.
Another impressive feature is the battery life. I haven’t had to charge the battery since the first charge when I purchased the speaker two weeks ago.
The speaker is a little bulky and weighs about 5 pounds, but the design is cool and it comes with a sturdy, changeable handle, making it easy to carry around. Connecting it to devices is a breeze as well. The speaker is on the pricier side, but I think it’s worth every penny. You pay for what you get! If you’re into great audio like I am, you’ll find it’s worth the splurge. Between the outstanding sound quality, powerful bass, exceptional battery life, and sleek design, the Bose SoundLink Max has to be the top choice for portable speaker.
