I made mash potatoes with this tool and it worked great!

Appears well made with a good grip and balance. Unit separates for easy cleaning and the wisk attachment has been handy.

I bought this immersion blender (on the recommendation of America’s Test Kitchen in one of their “best of” segments) as an alternative to my mini Bullet blender. I was not disappointed! It is easy to use, has fewer parts to clean and keep track of than the Bullet, easy to clean and compact enough to store on my *very* limited counter space. And it comes with both a mixing “cup” (like a tall, fat tumbler) and a wire whip. I use it pretty much every day to make my “first meal” smoothie. I highly recommend!

This little blender is a great addition to my kitchen helpers. It’s got a good weight to it, but not heavy enough to be uncomfortable. It’s fast and powerful. I’ve used it to grind almonds, make smoothies, puree soup. It’s easy to snap together and also easy to take apart to wash. I bought it to replace an old one that died, and glad I made this choice.

I bought this to replace my old counter-top blender. It’s very strong and easy to use and purees cooked veggies very well. I’m happy with it!

I got this because i didn’t like getting out and cleaning up the mixer and blender for small jobs. So far I’ve only used it to whip cream but it does a great job. Takes less time than the mixer, doesn’t splatter all over and makes a lovely thick cream. Seems sturdy and is easy to snap together, take apart. Could to whip cream for a generous portion for 4 desserts. If I had to make enough for 12 I’d use my mixer.

Compact in size yet powerful in operation, the machine works best when chopping and churning vegetables at a quick pace

I tried to make smoked carrot bisque, like an a hole for a work potluck. Carrots don’t smoke well, unless you can find those crazy big ones and then maybe. Also, if you want super smooth soup, buy a chinois, otherwise, be prepared to call the look of your soup,”rustic”. Anyway, this thing in the soup pot, churned carrots into nothing in seconds flat. Incredible.
Very comfortable grip, super easy to operate, plenty of power, amazing hand held immersion blender.
So, I xfer the soup to a crock pot and put it on low over night for work the next day.
In the morning I want to try and add more butter and cream cuz why not, so I add it in and put in the blender.
Which catches the crock pot liner, pulls it taught and much like if you put a ball or small child in the middle of a blanket and have adults pull it tight, the soup, like the child or the ball go flying. IN this instance all over me and my kitchen…pretty much Kevin’s chili if you watched The Office.
Anyway, my knuckleheadedness aside, great product.
Only negative is it doesn’t come with a storage bag, which is kind of a PITA. I had to buy a bag but cmon, how much is a bag vs the added appreciation value? But, ultimately that’s a nitpick.

I purchased this mixer about ten months ago and first thing that impressed me was the build quality. The Braun MultiQuick 5 feels sturdy and well-crafted, giving me confidence in its durability. The design is sleek and ergonomic, making it comfortable to hold and control, even during extended blending sessions.
One of the standout features of this hand blender is its exceptional power. The 700-watt motor delivers strong and consistent blending performance, effortlessly tackling everything from soft fruits to tough vegetables. I’ve used it to make silky smooth soups, creamy sauces, and even smoothies, and it performs flawlessly every time.
The variable speed control is another great feature that allows me to adjust the blending speed according to the consistency I desire. Whether I need a quick pulse or a continuous blend, the MultiQuick 5 delivers with precision.
However, since the mixer is pretty loose, I’d rather use a mixer instead. I the whisk part only twice.

Wow! I was impressed. I was used to a Bamex hand blender, it never had the power this one does. I didn’t use it that often but even so, the motor began slowing. This one is in sharp contrast, in a good way. I wish I could find more uses for it as it is so effective & easy to use. It is so powerful that my holding hand tingled when using it on high.
A great feature is the way it’s put together. The handle separates perfectly from the blending stem thus making it super easy to clean. One can put the stem in water, not fearing to get water in the motor, unlike the Bamex I had. So easy to put together, take apart for easy cleaning. This is well-thought out machine & I think it is a super great tool to have.
This is a nice metal stem so you will be able to use it safely in any warm/hot mixtures you may have- no plastic to leach into anything.
Recommend without reservation.
Edit: It’s now nearly 2023 and this wonderful tool is still going strong. I had previously purchased 2 Proctor Silex, they did not last but a few years. Quality is worth getting!

Homemade baby food, smoothies, and other purees made easy.
Attachments is soooo much easier to clean than a traditional blender (tired, working moms ain’t got time for that). This one is quieter and more steady than other hand blenders. That makes it possible for me to food prep and make a bunch of baby food during naptime and after bedtime.
Not so good at cutting through ice cubes. Frozen fruits and veggies should sit out to thaw a bit or have quite a bit of liquid added to actually blend.
The plastic cup scratches and stains easily. I bouhht an easier to clean stainless steel milkshake cup.
The whisk attachment was a bonus for me. It is more convenient than my regular hand mixer at mixing quiche filling, cake mix, whipped cream, and creaming butter and sugar for cookie dough.
As a side note: In case anyone is interested in the food storage system in the picture, I use the Kindde bags and Kindde attachment spoons and spout. Kindle has been convenient and more affordable in the long term. I got the bags for pumping breastmilk with the Kindde bottle attachment. Then started using the same bags to start my baby on solids.
I get recipe ideas from Pinterest. I also read baby food labels at the grocery store to get ideas for flavors and ingredients. I barely need store bought baby food. I just have a handful of jars in my pantry for emergencies. I just stockpile frozen bags of pureed food and thaw what I need the next day by either putting what I need in the fridge or using my bottle warmer. If traveling, I keep bags cool with a lunchbox and some ice packs. I thaw/warm items by dipping in a cup hot water that I keep in a thermos or get from a coffeshop/restaurant/gas station.
