These were easy to pop up right out of the bag. There was nothing extra to do but string them on my shepherd’s rods. They have already withstood a storm and still work. So far so good!

The only star deduction is that I thought these were dimmable by themselves. Not with an additional item. Thereโs also no lead to the first bulb. Each item is made such that it can fit multiple and have no break, which can get but itโd be nice to have at least an extra few feet of cord before the bulbs start.
This is me just picking it apart but overall I do like them and will keep. Probably going to do what it takes to make them dimmable.

Good ambiance lighting. Not to bright but not dark either. Longer than I anticipated but worked out perfect for my layout. Bulbs are sturdy. Love my lights! Great price too.

The lights compliment my patio and pergola nicely. I must have calculated the length I needed perfectly because the last bulb ended right where I wanted. Each socket has two manners in which to attach to the structure, but I used clear clips that stick to the pergola. The clips hold the light string securely and the bulbs hang nicely.
I attached them to a outlet dimmer rather than purchasing the version with a remote. I wanted to be able to set up a schedule for on and off which the outlet permitted.
I felt the length of the plug end was a bit short. It seems with string lights, whether for a patio or Christmas lights, the wire from the plug to the first bulb is either too long or too short. I don’t have a good solution for this because each situation is different. In this case, I was trying to feed the wire around a 2×6 board to where I could hide the outlet. I could have used another 4″ of wire. I was able to make it work (fortunately, there was a gap I could feed the wire through, but it is still tighter than I’d like for such thin wire. For those who want a longer lead wire from the outlet to the first bulb, you’ll need some type of extension cord. Fortunately the bulbs are LED, so you won’t be pulling too much current causing a fire hazard. The wire is typical lamp cord.

Most of the string lights I see are the larger ones, with full-size bulbs. Though I like those for restaurants and community areas, they are too big for my modest back deck. I like these because they are small and modest. I also appreciate that the bulbs are non-breakable. They look great in the yard.

These were just what I wanted. They look great, warm light, connect to one another, hang great. All good. I had ordered them and read a few more reviews looking for general install tips, and a couple of customers said they loved the dimmer. So I went back and ordered it, too. Wow. Remote on and off from far away. Dimming effect is great for creating a varied atmosphere. Brighter for an event on my patio and then dimmer just as a nice glow outside. Guests at my party asked where I got them. So a very good purchase.

Hung these on west facing porch in February. We have had extreme spring rains and extremely high wind storms. All lights are burning and no water inside bulbs. They have a nice warm glow. Pleased with their durability and appearance. Recommend.

I don’t dislike anything about these! Really impressed with them! Plastic and light but with a very good glow. No worries about breaking and they’re light enough to hang without worrying they’re too heavy for hangers! Love these!!!
