Briza Infrared Electric Patio Heater – 1500W Description
- DUAL USE – Comes with hardware for mounting on walls or ceilings. Also comes with an adjustable tripod stand.
- CONTROL WITH EASE – With the remote, power your heater on and off, adjust the timer and heat levels from anywhere on your patio or in the room.

Using in unheated garage with doors closed. It takes a few seconds to warm up. Can feel the heat when within a few feet of it, so far keeps most of me warm when approx 6-8 ft away when it is -7C outside.

I ended up putting a shed roof over my patio. The ceiling height is about 9ft on one side and 11ft on the other (roof slants from top of house towards the back yard). I mounted them on each side of the ceiling. These heaters act like the sun… if you are sitting still anywhere in front of the heat lamp you will feel it. Obviously the closer to it the warmer you are. I’d say it’s good for about a 10ft distance on high power.
One issue: on one lamp the fly nuts did not work properly when hanging. Did not tighten well… they came loose. Had to go to Home Depot to replace the two fly nuts.
Great product. Perfect size, good quality and does what it’s supposed to do. –
Great heater of you’re familiar with infrared. This is not a space heater, doesn’t heat a big area but it’s not intended to. I have 1 on my balcony and it was comfortable at minus 11c. We use one at work in shipping containers and it takes the edge off. Pricey but good quality and durable. The work I’ve had taken a few spills and still working great. We’ve also had it outside during a snow storm and it was great.

I received mine yesterday only two days after ordering it. Assembling it on the tripod ( I didn’t wall mount it) was very quick and easy and it worked perfectly on my first try, quickly generating a generous amount of heat and quickly cooling down when I turned it off. I’m looking forward to enjoying my outdoor terrace this winter, which I haven’t been able to do previously.

I Love it, can’t say enough about this infra red heater, best quality, you won’t regret it, I love it 👌🏽

I bought this heater for my wife who likes to sit in our screened in enclosed sunroom even when the weather drops. We’re located in Central Jersey. So far it’s been keeping her warm. She’s been using it in the 35+ degree temperature on level 2. She hasn’t used it on level 3 yet.

Portable and easy to use. I’m about to order a second one! I use this in my bathroom and garage for hot yoga, my animals also love sitting in front of it for the infrared heat. Love that I can just sit in front of it without heating up (really warm) the whole house. I tend to get more cold than my husband, so this is one of my favorite winter “treats”. Big difference between a regular space heater and the infrared. Highly recommend!

Three settings of heat and they all work. Fortunately we didn’t get an early summer so it was possible to use the heater for some late night outdoor projection movie times. It doesn’t heat a space as such but it heats your body when in range. Decent spread of heat that was felt by three people sitting in different positions from each other (not huddled together). Not much else to say – good warmth, quite easy to setup. Tripod allows various heights to experiment how the heat will impact each person. Nice touch by the manufacturer would have been supplying a cloth wrap to slip the heater in when storing to keep from getting scratched. Certainly not a deal breaker, just a convenience. Remote control worked as expected. So far, a good purchase for my requirements.

I’ve had a few of these style heaters for our back deck in south florida, but they all died out quickly and even one of them shocked me on the first use (OTHERS). This one is well made, looks good, and has been a solid daily user when it’s chilly out back. It’s the first time I’ve been impressed with one of these types of heaters because they’re usually too small or so cheaply made they work 3 months and then go kaput. This is definitely one I’d recommend, and it works very well. I like the simple remote, however I do wish it was a little more substantial (easy to break). Overall, this is a great patio heater for just a few people when it’s chilly outside.

I had great expectations for this style heater. I have a small unheated garage and three seasons of the year I am able to use it as a makeshift exercise room. Winters are tough, though. I live in Southern New England so from December to around the beginning of April the garage can be so cold it makes it uncomfortable to use for an hour-long exercise session. I was hoping this heater would remedy that by heating the garage to at least 55-60F, a temperature that is comfortable when the body is moving and circulation enhanced.
I’ve used it on cold days six times trying to problem-solve a solution that would help raise the ambient temperature. The best I can get is five degrees more, something that is unacceptable when the temperature in the garage starts at 40F. First I tried the highest setting, L3 for two hours. The thermometer hardly budged more than 2 degrees. Next, I raised the tripod setting to its highest and pointed the face of the heater down. Same result. Then I decided to preheat the garage for two hours before using it. Same result. I went back and re-read the instructions thinking I might be missing something and also checked a few YouTube to see if they provided any insight. The only thing I could find different was understanding that the radiant heat has to heat objects in a room and those objects, in turn, heat the air. So I lowered the tripod settings as far down as it would go and pointed the heater at the cement floor hoping it would absorb heat and then that would rise inside the garage. I turned it on and left it for 4 hours. When I came back the heat had risen only 5 degrees, still inadequate to heat the garage to a comfortable 55-60F.
The best I can determine is this heater works only in very small enclosed spaces and when pointed at the user, warms him/her with radiant heat, but if they move from a direct line of sight it suddenly goes cold. So if you are reading a book or tying flies at a bench, this would be great, but then why would I do those things in an unheated garage [rhetorical, the answer is self-evident]. Frankly, I am greatly disappointed.

I think this works best in some kind of enclosure, such as a gazebo. It was only able to warm us at about a 3′ -4′ max range on our patio. The product seems to be of high quality and the tripod is very sturdy. I didn’t measure it, but I’m not sure it was drawing the full 1500 watts, but there is really no adjustment (just L1, L2 and L3). I kept waiting for it to get hot, but it never really did.

Maybe good quality but I will never know ..

If you’re like me and the smell of propane heaters doesn’t sit well with you, you need this. Everything from a little warm to very toasty. Be aware, like any heater, and especially electric heaters, it doesn’t have a very big range – you have to be reasonably close to it. Also, the long, thin tripod legs mean it can tip – but it has a very good safety feature and will shut off immediately tipped or jostled too hard
