Scope is fantastic thus far as I have only shot my airgun 3 times since installing it. The only knock is the rings are not so great! Aluminum rings that seem to be made of very soft material. I stipped the threads on one before it was snug and yes, I was using a torque wrench. So, other than that, its fantastic! AO function and focus function plus variable power all perform well. Good eye relief also.

To preface, I’ve personally owned 3 of these exact scopes and the same thing happens every time. I would also like to mention the rifle I had each scope on was my gamo swarm magnum. The scopes look and feel great when you get them, however once you start shooting is when problems start occurring. The first problem I noticed that happened on two of the three I had bought was the parallax adjustment ring came detached from the scopes after shooting. Not a huge deal since the adjustment still works you just have to guess the range to adjust right. The very bad part about these scopes is that every one after only roughly 150-200 shots would break. And not just no longer hold zero but stuff would actually break. Both lenses on each end of every scope came loose at some point. The scopes no longer hold zero on any of my guns. BSA does offer a warranty but they make you pay for shipping and packaging both ways and after three scopes and the exact same problems I’m done with them. Do yourself a favor and buy something a little more quality.

I’ve gone through a couple standard scopes on my Benjamin Titan .22, and just as I was ready to trash the rifle for “bent barrel” or some other excuse for constantly losing zero, I decided to try this BSA.
It’s been a workhorse through nearly 300rnds and has held its zero well. I absolutely love the MOA reticle, and the sight picture is crisp and just soaks up the ambient light at dusk. I’m putting 5 .22 rounds inside a dime at 30yds. Absolutely LOVE this scope so far!

I have actually only used this scope at 25 yards & 50 yards is the limit where I shoot. At the distances the sight picture is clear after adjusting the parallax the markings on the ring are a little off but could also be caused by eye sight. The scope has a couple of cons, 1st the turrets have no indexing mark so you can’t set zero then index the turret, well you can but there isn’t a dot or line to set 0 to. Plus to set the turret to 0 you need a tiny screwdriver like is used for glasses. A hex head with an included wrench would be much better. My biggest complaint is with the packaging most scopes even the less expensive ones come with a box to store the scope when not in use all 3 of my BSA scopes came in a blister pack which isn’t the best for shipping & certainly not for storing. So for poor packaging & the tiny turret screws I’m knocking off 2 stars.

I use this scope on a magnum sprig gun that has trashed air rifle scopes in the past. So far(150+ shots) this scope has has held zero very well. Bright optics and the mil dot reticle is more useful than you might think. I can hit anything within 75 yards.

I’m using this scope on a Xalisco XS28M which is a beast of a breakbarrel springer with a hard recoil, and is damned hard to shoot accurately. I’ve mounted the scope on top of a Chinese knock-off of a Bullseye ZR mount, (Ade Advanced Optics High Profile Zero Recoil Mount), with no problems. I’ve struggled to shoot accurately with this rifle, but a lot of the problem is me. After close to 1000 pellets, I’m finally getting pretty consistent groups and it seems to be holding zero decently. I’m shooting roughly 1 1/2 inch groups at 30 yards and they seem to be improving. I suspect that the zero recoil mount costs me a bit of accuracy, as does my age, so I’m satisfied with the scope.
Unlike a number of reviews,I haven’t had any problem with recoil damage – I think the ZR mount makes a huge difference – even so, as on any magnum springer, screws loosen up. I’ve learned to check them every time before I practice. A loose screw will really raise hell with being able hold zero. I wouldn’t be surprised if some of the issues other have are related to this.
I use the rifle for pest control and while I won’t win any shooting contests, I can usually drop a varmint eating my wife’s flowers with a headshot at 30 yards.
