Perfect for my 26” e-bike with Shimano 7 speed. 53 tooth is perfect for hitting 28 mph without “ghost pedaling”, (bike came with a 44 tooth chainring). Reused factory chain, derailleur probably doesn’t have optimum geometry but it shifts fine. You will need a crankset puller (10 bucks on Amazon), a 16mm or 5/8 and 14mm wrenches, a common set of Allen wrenches (up to at least 8mm) and thread locker for the install. Great quality, great upgrade for my e-bike!

Bought a inexpensive folding E-bike that has 3 PAS levels. Much bigger then the old one. Level 1 good for 10 MPH. Leve 2 14 – 16 ghost pedaling occurs. This 58 tooth sprocket eliminated ghost pedaling for level 2. Had to add 3 inches to the length of the chain. Bought a chain for a single speed non-ebike chain from local bike store for 13 dollars. Came with master link but didn’t find it until I finished the job. Had the chain break tool. Spent most of time and effort removing the old crank arms and making sure I didn’t cross thread the crank arm bolts during assembly. I was concerned that the offset might cause the chain to fail off during pedaling but that has not occured yet. Chain is quiet taught.. Worked well for me.

My Lectric XP 3.0 hydraulic stepover came with a 53T single-piece crankset in front, and a 11T-28T freewheel in the back.

In top gear, I can reach up to 28mph, but I’m ghost pedaling to maintain it.
To get a little more top end speed (and stave off the ghost pedaling), I decided to try out a 56T crankset on my XP3, and adding three more teeth does make a difference!

After changing out the crankset, I can get up to 32mph on the bike (before I’m ghost pedaling), and I can maintain 30mph at a comfortable cadence now. But I did notice my hill climbing power is slightly reduced.

Typically, I’ll tackle hills in my area in PAS5 and in fourth gear, but now I’m switching down into third gear to maintain a similar cadence (basically I lost some low-end torque, to gain more top end speed).

Like others have said, the crankset arrived disassembled and with zero instructions.
Tip: I ended up mounting the chainring to the outside of the crank arm to get the chain path lined up properly on the XP 3.0, plus I ended up reusing the original crank arm bolts to complete the upgrade.

Also, I didn’t bother to add any extra links to the chain. The original chain is a bit tight, but it still shifts the entire range.

If I were to go with a bigger (say a 60T) chainring, then it would absolutely need a longer chain to make it all work.

So far, I’m happy I added this larger crankset to my Lectric XP 3.0 Ebike.

I recently purchased the BUCKLOS Folding Bike Crankset 170mm, 130 BCD Round Single Speed Chainring for my ebike, but unfortunately, I encountered a significant issue. The left crank arm rubs against the bike frame, which makes it impossible to use the crankset effectively. This issue has caused inconvenience and frustration, as I expected the crankset to fit properly without such compatibility problems. I’m disappointed with this experience, especially considering the specific measurements and compatibility that were advertised.

  8. Horrible product

Had to shave a bit off the frame and move a wire over for clearance. Minor adjustment.

Straightforward install installation on EB7-ST. You’ll need more than a small hex wrench to remove the crank bolts. I have a 3/8 drive hex socket. Also the tool to pull the cranks. The additional 4 teeth make a notable difference, but maybe not as much as I hooped. No problem with chain length or with the chain coming off. Pricey, but I’m satisfied.

    works great

you can also install the arm behind or front of the teeths to adjust, so that teeths don’t touch the frame of the bike

    absolutely fantastic

I installed the bottom bracket and crankset and on the test ride the threads for the pedal stripped on both arms.. this product is not for serious cyclists!!!
