Dear Amazon:
I recieved my clarinet three weeks ago but I have been very busy. This was supposed to be a gift to a girl wirh no means to buy it. She lives in the countryside in Colombia. I know it was second hand but it stated that it had be used just once. I have to tell you that it came incomplete. It was without the nozzle. The most important part. It was broke and fixed with glue at the top. I feel cheated. It clearly stated that the payment wouldn’t be refundable, no wonder!

OK, my grandson wanted to play in the Middle School band but really wasn’t sure what instrument he wanted to play and mentioned the clarinet so I purchased one that would be wasting money if he decided to give it up and also give him a chance to decide what instrument he wanted to play. Now in 7th grade they have band every day and he seamed to really be enjoying it so I asked him if he was going to continue, O yea I’m even going to try out for the Jazz assemble band. Knowing this I decided to get a clarinet that would be fit for his liking and picked up the Buffet B12, boy what a difference it made, matter fact he had his first solo band competition and received a first place ribbon. The sound is just wonderful and he really like it because his brother has a Semler-Bundy and now they sound great together

This is a wonderful clarinet, but I received it in awful condition. The mouthpiece cork was crumbling and falling off, there were missing pads and the mouthpiece had bite marks in it. I recommend the clarinet, but buy from a more reliable shipper.

It’s a good instrument for my son as a beginner to learn how to play the instrument. The instrument came in good condition.

13 year old daughter plays this instrument in a junior high band and loves it! Very nice keys and sound… Only issue after 3 months is the the ligature broke but that is not a big problem,therefore you can purchase another one for a cheap price! Great option if you do not want to spend a lot of money, but wants to have an instrument that is comparable to the “brand” Hope this review helps💜

We received this purchase today already after ordering on May 5th. My daughter is very pleased with her new Clarinet, it sounds great and arrived very quick, sooner than expected. The clarinet is in good condition, and is a far better instrument than I had previously. The last time I played was 27 years ago, so I’m virtually a beginner again, and I’ve forgotten a great deal in the intervening time: I’m having to re-learn fingering and how to get a good high note, but already I’m impressed with the beautiful tone, and enjoying a gradual return to the great enjoyment of making music instead of just listening,

I have purchased this same clarinet a number of times as gifts to schools and also keep one for my personal enjoyment. The name Buffet ensures that everything works great. My only complaint with Buffet as well as most all other brands is the initial difficulty in putting the darn thing together. The corks are always too large and either require a great deal of force to join together or sanding down to size. One has to be careful when sanding as to not sand too much. It would be worth the money to have a local repairman do the initial setup for you.
