The ease of shifting the head unit across is what really makes the Edge so good. I have two road helmets I switch between dependent upon bike and this has made life just a little simpler.

I have a couple helmets where I’ve installed the Packtalk edge helmet kit into and I think overall Cardo is a very quality product. I’ve had other communicators and have been annoyed by their inability to communicate as well as the speaker performance in the helmet kits. Cardo does a great job of staying connected as well as reconnecting quickly when back in range with nothing required of the rider. The JBL speakers used in the kits are great for music and sound quality.

This helmet kit is amazing, easy to install on an ARAI helmet. It worked flawlessly with my Cardo Packtalk Edge intercom (bought before). I’m very happy and now I can change helmets and the only thing I need is to connect the intercom in either one of them. Sweet riding!!!

If you’re looking at a second helmet kit for your Cardo, you probably know what to expect! Sounds great, is super loud, and picks up audio really well! Depending on if your ears sit on top of your head or down at your jaw line, you may need to adjust the fitment inside the helmet a bit. But seriously, 1/4 of an inch adjustment on the jbl speakers up/down/forward/back can really change the audio!
