I have an unlined Carhartt similar to this coat and wanted the lined one for times when my cold weather puffy coat is too warm. I ordered a medium and am satisfied with the fit. Really like the generous interior pockets. The exterior side entry pocket openings are too small. I have a medium size hand and can just manage to jam them in the pockets up to the wrist. Tried it with thin gloves on and itโ€™s a no-go. The zipper is tricky but identical to the one on my other Carhartt so Iโ€™ve had no trouble with it. Would be nice if it had snaps instead of buttons for the storm flap.

Bought for the wife as she has a number of their items. This is out of the workwear stable and not to be confused with the WIP range. Great quality and a bargain price when I got it. Will last for ages and stand up to the rough and tumble of daily life. Loads of pockets and a great warm interior where itโ€™s needed and has a detachable hood if it gets on your pip and a woolly hat is the only top lagging you need. Copied by a number of other brands but not a patch on Carhartt. Workwear to take on any workday 24/7

When I got this duck coat, I really loved the simple style, deep red fabric, the heft of the cotton, and the fit was just roomy enough to layer without getting constricted. The buttons and zipper option was appreciated, although the zipper needs a little work to pull together. The body lining feels really warm and the sleeve lining allows for a smooth entry. The hood, which is detachable, is a nice feature. There are enough pockets for me to store essentials, although the slip-on pockets on the side might have a little too small of an opening for some girls. This Carhartt coat is worthy of someone who ventures out in the elements and feed the chickens or do hard work outside…but it doesn’t fit my lifestyle. It felt heavy to carry, although when you put it on you don’t really notice it much. It felt too much of a coat for me, so I had to return, but I have the utmost respect for sturdy coats like these…like they would last a lifetime.

I work at the waterfront and it keeps me warm. Itโ€™s long enough to cover my rear the pockets are great and fits true to size and measurements. I normally wear a size 12/14 and have this in xl I can wear layers under. Definitely not a rain jacket but if itโ€™s light drizzle or wind chill this is great I live and work on the west coast of bc

I usually order all my jackets in size Large to have some slight room for layers underneath and so I originally ordered this in large, and when it arrived i couldnโ€™t believe how massive it was. I wish I took a pic. But it fit almost like I was wearing a menโ€™s XL or something. It was heavy and big all around – I wondered if it was maybe tagged wrong. So I returned it and ordered a medium (just one size down from my usual) and hoped for the best. The medium arrived today and it fits perfect!! It doesnโ€™t feel as heavy as the Large did, and I am even able to wear a hoodie under without it feeling too tight.

But this jacket is made so well, that I doubt Iโ€™ll even need a hoodie underneath. But you never know with Idaho winters! If I have any complaints about the jacket overall is that is seems like a lint magnet. So Iโ€™ll have to keep a lint roller on deck.

But if youโ€™re in the market for a super warm jacket that wonโ€™t break the bank like other brands (TNF, Columbia, etc that can range upwards of $300 or more for something similar) BUY THIS! Itโ€™s not only warm and functional but stylish too. Iโ€™d just maybe size down one size from your usual jacket size.

For reference I am 5โ€™1 and 145lb my normal sizes are sm/md in tops, 9/10 in pants.

Love these coats and now that I’m hooked on them I’ll not buy anything else.
Not fancy but not bad looking and warm but breathes, which is what is most
important to me. Good 100% cotton fabric.

The coat is a nice warm and thick. I now see why the coat has buttons and a zipper and the zipper does not zip AT ALL. Very disappointing!!!

I like the coat so far. Lots of room I got a 2x and I have plenty of room for a sweaterand a scarf if I wanted to wear one underneath. It totally blocks high winds and it seems to wick moisture. I know carhart is tough. I feel better knowing I have a good coat to go into winter.

Got this for my mom for winter farm chores as she was complaining of being cold and that her butt got cold as well. The jacket is long enough to cover her butt she said it definitely keeps her warm.

I am 5โ€™6 about 150 lbs. Ordered an X-LARGE because I hate cold weather and usually wear 3 layers. Long John shirt, turtleneck and sweatshirt. This fits well and still room to move even with all the layers. The length is great covers my hips in back and just slightly shorter in front. I ordered the Blackberry and it is a very nice color. Love that the hood is detachable. When you pick it up it is rather heavy but doesnโ€™t seem that way when you put it on. If there is something to not like I havenโ€™t found yet.

This was a gift for our daughter for a barn coat. She loves it! She said the quality and warmth are fabulous for the barn!
