As someone who enjoys an active lifestyle, I was in the market for a reliable and affordable watch that could keep up with me. That’s why I decided to purchase the Casio Men’s MRW200H-1BV Sport Analog Dive Watch and I am incredibly happy with my choice.
The design of this watch is sleek and stylish, making it perfect for everyday wear. The black resin band is comfortable and adjustable, ensuring a perfect fit for any wrist size. The watch face is also easy to read, with large and bold markers that make it simple to check the time at a glance.
But what really sets this watch apart is its durability and water resistance. The watch is water-resistant up to 100 meters, making it perfect for swimming and snorkeling. The watch’s shock-resistant design means that it can withstand the rigors of an active lifestyle, making it perfect for sports and outdoor activities.
Overall, I highly recommend the Casio Men’s MRW200H-1BV Sport Analog Dive Watch to anyone in need of a reliable and extremely affordable timepiece. It is a five-star product that delivers exceptional performance and features that are unmatched in its price range. Whether you’re a sports enthusiast or just looking for a watch that can keep up with your active lifestyle, the Casio Men’s MRW200H-1BV Sport Analog Dive Watch is the perfect choice.

This is a well made, comfortable, functional, and affordable watch. I have dive watches, “dress watches,” and plastic/rubber/silicone watches that I wear at various times. This is by far my favorite in the plastic watch category, and I have quite a few different makes and models. Easy to read face, useful bezel (for elapsed time, direction, etc.), day and date function, beautiful contrast between the black face and white letters, lightweight, water resistant, and very reasonably priced. The watch has a lume but it’s pretty weak. If that’s a must-have you’ll probably be disappointed. I think this watch has so many positive features that the weak lume is acceptable for me. It’s a great looking casual knockabout watch from a very reputable watchmaker (Casio) and is a real bargain. Highly recommend. My wife has the women’s version (smaller case) in shiny white with multi-colored numbers on the face and it is amazingly beautiful and just as functional as mine. That is also available on Amazon.

My 1st introduction to wristwatches came when my parents gifted me an engraved Bulova Accutron for my college graduation. It was astonishing! The second hand moved almost magically around the dial without the jittering of a mechanical automatic movement, or the 60 times a minute jumps that a quartz movement attempts unsuccessfully to accurately hit each minute mark as it goes around the entire dial. All that, and it kept the unbelievable accuracy of a minute a month! Over my life Iโve owned 3 automatic, mechanical watches, and 5 quartz watches of varying value; mostly @ the $100 price points. Prior to this review, the only watch that didnโt disappoint me was my wonderful Seiko quartz Railroad watch @$75.
It was consistently within 10 seconds fast/mo, had perfect registration, (hitting minute markers), and withstood all the constant rigors that several decades working as a USPS carrier could deliver. The mineral crystal dial went sporadically between clear and illegible depending upon how badly it was scratched by its most recent crash into a doorjamb. But I digress.
This Casio faux diver # mrw200-1BV is unquestionably the best $23 Iโve ever, ever spent. Thank you for still reading my post. Iโll attempt to close it out with the brevity of bullet points.
Ordered @ midnightโฆOn my porch before 2p.m. the next business day. (prime)
Easily mistaken to be a watch costing 10 times the price.
After ten days it is running precisely +- 0 seconds per 24 hours. (I was lucky. This is uncharacteristically beyond the mean deviation of 20 seconds/month.)
The included Casio strap is typically too long for my 7 โ wrist. Simply cut off the excess with a single edge razor, donโt wear it sticking out and flapping. It looks like โNice watch. Too bad they didnโt have it in your size.โ
It wears boldly, but not overly large for the average adult, or teenager.
As abundantly reported, the โlumeโ or luminescence in the dark is catastrophically poor! I was initially disappointed since the very legible white on black dial made me gamble with the thought that it might be readable at bedtime. Not so I now realize.
Per a Youtube video, it appears simple enough, even for a klutz like me, to replace the 3 year battery. If not, throw it away and buy another one as currently a jeweler will probably charge $15 for bench time to replace it for you.
Finally, my wife and daughter both bought me a new Apple Watch โSEโ for this Christmas. As usual, even this hugely overpriced Apple sadly has a woefully undersized battery, so most of its amazing features Iโve had to turn off, so yet another and disappointing and expensive horological nightmare!
Donโt elevate this to be like buying a new house or automobile. For what I suspect that 2 Happy Meals must currently cost, just buy itโฆ๐

This watch, made in China to a Japanese design, is reminiscent of the first diver’s watch I bought in 1976. No frills in appearance, no complex controls, just one knob to control its features, and even more astonishing, instructions that are clear and concise (on the same sheet of paper those instructions are repeated in an astonishing variety of languages but I guess that’s what “made in China” is all about today.) It has a battery powered quartz movement, which is different from the mechanical “self winding” innards of the 1976 watch, but not better nor worse; it’s much more accurate but the battery will need occasional replacement. It is analog, while watches I’ve owned since 1976 have been either wholly or partially digital. I believe, over 40 years of experience, that if you’ve learned to “tell time” on an analog dial, as all children had to in grade school in my time, analog is better. When you look at the analog face and see that it’s 5 minutes to 8 you’ll know at once that you’d better hurry, while with a digital you’ll look at it and say, relax, it’s only 7:55 and I don’t have to be there till 8. It’s human nature. If you want a stopwatch or to time things to the second, you’ll need a digital, or a much more expensive analog with additional dials.
Having worn the watch for a while I’ve come to appreciate that it’s actually improved over the originals. The numbers are exceptionally clear and readable — a huge benefit for those whose vision is, well, not what it used to be. Having the 24-hour military time numbers for PM shown in a much smaller font inside the 12-hour numbers is a huge benefit, doing away with the 12-24 toggle which has been a feature of every digital watch I’ve had. The rotating timer bezel turns in both directions, while I can remember diver’s watches where you could only spin it one way, requiring lots of turning if the index setting needed to be the other way by 5 minutes. The day of the week and date window are just like in 1976 — a rectangle where the “3” would be if the window wasn’t there. The day and date are small but very legible.
My previous diver’s watches have been down to about 30 feet both with Scuba gear and free swimming. They have ridden on various boats and sailboards even more often, where I expected mere splash resistance would be enough. Through the 40 years there was only one water-leakage failure. So, when the manufacturer says it’s rated to 100 m submergence, I think it is probably suitable for all water sports including Scuba diving up to the point where decompression stops are required; deeper than that it might be advisable to buy a fancier timepiece.
I no longer dive, but I think the traditional styling is pleasant for casual wear as well. That it won’t be destroyed if you wear it for a swim is a bonus.
It’s a watch. It tells time. It does not synch to the GPS time signal nor tell you where you are. It can’t alert rescuers to come save you if you fall and break your ankle while walking the Appalachian Trail. But, it costs a tenth of what the wrist devices that do those things do, and its operation is easy to learn. It doesn’t come with a 100-page manual, nor do you have to watch a YouTube video to learn how to work it if you can’t find that manual. So except that its visibility at night is only adequate, I think it’s an excellent performer and economical, too.

For a crazy inexpensive watch, keeps accurate time, date and day function, and its water resistant to 100M per manufacturer and battery can last up to 3 years. Itโs lightweight, a bit โplasticyโ and was low key disappointed the crystal was acrylic/plastic, so itโll be a little more subject to scratches showing than mineral glass. Not a deal breaker and the price to feature ratio is otherwise outstanding. Looks way more expensive, a bit like a L*****x dive watch. Luminescent hands only, no supplemental dial light. Overall a great daily wear watch.
