Great everyday watch. It looks good even if it’s a little big for my taste. It stays accurate in my closet for weeks. The strap it comes with is very stiff and not my favorite (it is seemingly high quality though), so I replaced it with a nato strap.

I bought this watch a couple of months ago because I needed a solar powered watch that’s able to take a beating. I am very impressed with the utility. It’s accurate and easy to read. There have been complaints about the illumination in previous reviews. The hands of the watch illuminate well but the numbers do not. It doesn’t really matter to me if I can see the numbers or not at night because the position of the hands makes it obvious about the time. I like having the second sweep hand, it is precisely on the tics – just what I wanted. The green arrow tip of the second sweep hand is cool.
As far as ruggedness – I’ve swam with it, showered, hiked up rushing tropical streams and waterfalls, been down in the mud – and with a wash – it looks great. The crystal is hard and no scratches after a beating. There have also been complaints about the band. Actually, I like the band – I find it comfortable and keeps the watch firm on my wrist.
The price was very reasonable – the watch was delivered quickly in good packaging but not over-packaged. And, I’ll never have to replace the battery! You won’t be disappointed!

Excellent:
– visibility: the contrast is great, easy to read in both low and strong light
– accuracy: I checked it with the Atomic clock, mine is fast by 1.5 sec per month
– date: weekday and date easy to read, Saturday shows blue and Sunday red
– look: I am wearing this watch alternatively with two NATO straps, and looks great with any of them.
I bought this watch as a “workhorse”, and finished up wearing it all the time including with a formal jacket.

PROs: Nice solar-powered, water-resistant watch (but definitely not meant for diving) for the price. Solar power feature is great so you never have to replace a battery. It does not require a lot of charging and lasts for a long time on a full charge. Timekeeping appears solid and accurate and the day/date function is also nice.
CONs: The bezel does not rotate. The face and numbers have no illumination/glow in the dark but the hands do, so still possible to tell time in the dark although it’s not super bright. The provided strap is of poor quality and the rivets for the holes on mine began to pop out and the fabric began to fray in some areas after a few months of regular wear. I ended up replacing the strap with a much nicer one from Shinola (size 22mm) which cost almost as much as the watch but it looks great and should last a long time.
Overall, you get a solid daily watch that never needs a battery for a decent price but plan on replacing the strap at some point.
P.S. I measured the case diameter at 39/40mm so the listing saying it’s much bigger is inaccurate, at least for the watch that I received.

Wrist band is handsome, and well made, but needs to be broken in. Struggled with that initially. Awkward to thread end into retaining bands, even now.

The watch seems to be very accurate, as one would expect for a quartz movement. Its a good size too. If there is any complaint I would say the webbing style strap looks like it won’t last long, after a few weeks its looking a little frayed. Other than that its great. No regrets.

Went with this watch for work and casual wear. I am very pleased with it’s quality and feel. The watch is the perfect size, rugged and sharp looking. Time keeping is precise and easy to set. The band is solid and quality made.

The watch is heavy and built tough. I was expecting to have some plastic, but to my surprise there was none to be found. It is all shiny metal, very made. Even the nylon strap is double sided and the accessories is all metal, and not just your typical thin, flexible alloy metal. It has some weight to it and it looks like it is plated with some shiny metal. The strap also has a back liner and the stitching is flawless. I’m extremely surprised on the quality. One more thing, the glass looks and feel like crystal, almost scratch resistant; although I don’t know the specs on it.

This is a beautiful field watch, versatile, good value for money solar powered filed watch. I would have given it a 5-star but there is no lum.
