Casio Tide Graph Moon Phase Sports Watch WS-1300H-8AV

I love this Casio tide graph moon phase watch. It is very accurate and reliable, and it has a lot of useful features for marine sports. I use it for surfing, fishing and boating, and it helps me plan my trips according to the tide and moon conditions. The watch is also very durable and water-resistant, and it has a long battery life. The LED light is bright and easy to read in the dark. The design is sporty and stylish, and the color is very nice. This is a great watch for anyone who loves the ocean.

Not clear how to get an accurate tide reading. But the size is daunting, thick as a 2×4 timber. Makes one feel like a little kid wearing Daddy’s watch! If you need accurate tide reading, look elsewhere. The moon phase gizmo is cool, but on the whole, better to look it up online.
The light is adequate.

I live on island in Puget Sound and was searching for an inexpensive but rugged tide watch for kicking around the beach and planning ferry rides. Didn’t want to pay for premium watches that do the same thing but are just a bit more elegant looking. Full featured with at a glance tide and lunar phases in addition to the regular functionality you’d expect from a Casio, countdown timer, alarm, DST mode and stopwatch.

The look of the watch surprised me in the best possible way, the gray gives the watch a striking modern look, easily mistaken for a G Shock and a far cry from Casio’s 80’s black plastic block watches of the past. I wore it on a business trip and it fit in perfectly with work attire. The price is unbeatable and few things on the planet are as accurate and reliable as a Casio.

Probably the last tide watch you will ever need which is a shame because you could buy four or five of these for the price of the next cheapest competitor. If you live near the ocean or if getting surprised by the full moon could prove problematic, you owe yourself one.

It’s a really good waterproof watch. Took it surfing a few times. It’s a bit of a learning curve to set up the entire watch but there are several YouTube tutorials on this watch. Like surfing with it and don’t have to worry about it when I fall of my board. It’s not a smart watch but it great watch for the price.

First off, I love how easy it is to read. I am also equally impressed with how lightweight it is; could be the fact that it’s not G-shock but I can barely feel it when it’s on. The amber backlight is good enough – not as great as the super Illuminator feature on the more expensive G-shocks but you’re still getting a solid backlight when needed.
And of course, what I BOUGHT it for – the moon phase and tide status work perfectly. Fishermen and cancers alike can apprethis watch.

This watch has excellent quality and functionality considering the price. It feels totally solid and tough. Looks awesome too with the subtle color hits (swapped the black band from WS-1400H-1BV). It’s not particularly comfortable on my 7 3/4 inch wrist. The lug-to-lug presses on my wrist bones, and the strap is quite stiff. I still wear it often though… it’s cool enough to deal with!

I bought this specifically for the moon and tide function. It is light, good color (gray) easy to read and easy to program function. I do find the strap a hair puller so I will be replacing the strap.
