I really like these strings for a cheap replacement for student violins. I have tried others that are a little less expensive, but keep coming back to Cecilio. They sound pretty decent, are not prone to break or unwind, and are less expensive than comparable strings. I’d definitely recommend them!

Cecilio wraps each G, D, A, E violin string in its own packet and individually color codes each string… there is no confusion.
I tried another more expensive brand that did not package in a straight forward manner.. I gave up and then selected and ordered these stellar Cecilio violin strings.
These Cecilio violin strings sound and play great!

I think quantum mechanics dictates that if you walk into a wall every second for 15 billion years you will emerge on the other side. Maybe if you throw these strings at a wall and have them emerge on the other side, but also have the particles that were trying to go through the wall stay in place. Then repeat the process with the 8 string you have. You could obtain your 16 string in about 30 billion years.
There are 4 strings in this set, not 16. They also kind of suck.
