I’ve gotten dvds that work on the PAL system, with British shows that are hard to find in this country. Players that are region free used to be pretty expensive. This one is inexpensive, and does a decent job of playing the discs. It’s small, not fancy by any means, but gets the job done.I’ve used it just over a month to watch some shows, and it’s worked well so far. If you don’t expect any frills, I think you’ll be satisfied.

I have an older DVD player which doesn’t get a lot of use. It does not even have HDMI output, it has the RCA Audio, Video outs. I keep it to play my older family videos which are on VCDs. My newer Blu-ray is 3D and HD but cannot play VCDs.
I needed something that could play VCDs and output HDMI. This Mini HD DVD Player has got it all. It is HD, has both RCA and HDMI outputs and comes in a sleek, small footprint. It includes all needed cables and a easy to use remote, (batteries not included). This player can handle numberous formats and is region free. The following is the list of formats: region 1/2/3/4/5/6 DVDs (except for CPRM), and supports the playback of CD, DVD, DVD-R/+R, DVD-/+RW, CD-R/-RW, VCD, SVCD.
It is powered via a standard USB-C cable, (power block included).
As tested, it handled regular DVDs with no issue and specifically tested, it handled my home burned DVD-R and DVD+R as well as my VCDs perfectly. Both the picture and sound quality were fine. I was able to play my VCDs with it connected to a video capture device via HDMI and have finally been able to convert the VCDs to MP4s. (While the video was fine, the pictures taken with my phone of the screen aren’t very sharp).
Overall, this is an excellent player capable of handling every format I need it to with features that rival much more expensive units. I highly recommend it as it suits my needs to a “T”.

i have been in the market for a new inexpensive DVD player when I came across this one. It had a lot of the qualities I was looking for. 1. It’s small and compact doesn’t take up much room at all. It’s slightly larger than my hand and very lightweight. 2. Must be easy to hook up. This one is very easy to hook up. Choose which cords you want to use (included) and plug and play. 3. Must have a remote (which it does). It took me about 2 minutes to setup. I tried my CD and the sound is really nice so glad because my CD player broke on me so now I can play my CD’s once again. Next I tried a DVD and the picture and the sound are really good. My only complaint is that the remote is not the best. It lags a bit and you must be kind of close to use it or at least in my home. But overall for the price this is a nice little machine. No frills easy to hook up and use machine. As you can see to the left of the TV picture is the DVD player it is small/ compact and fits on my little stand. It was also very well packaged to keep it safe during shipping. Overall the price is good and the quality of the picture and sound is very good. You can’t go wrong with this purchase. I am very happy with my purchase.

I have a rather large collection of DVDs and recently wanted to rewatch my favorites. I haven’t had a working DVD player for several years, so o was looking for something small and cheap. The price was excellent. Setup was easy. Although batteries were not included for the remote, the basic controls can be accessed on the front of the device. Picture quality is on par with my previous devices. It was also nice that it includes an HDMI cord. I was impressed by the small size and weight of the unit. I have not tried watching videos from a USB, but that wasn’t the primary reason for purchase. If you need a cheap, quiet DVD player, this device should for your needs.

J’étais à la recherche d’un nouveau lecteur DVD bon marché lorsque je suis tombé sur celui-ci. Il possédait beaucoup de qualités que je recherchais. 1. Il est petit et compact et ne prend pas beaucoup de place. Il est légèrement plus grand que ma main et très léger. 2. Doit être facile à brancher. Celui-ci est très simple à brancher. Choisissez les cordons que vous souhaitez utiliser (inclus) et branchez et jouez. 3. Doit avoir une télécommande (ce qui est le cas). Il m’a fallu environ 2 minutes pour l’installer. J’ai essayé mon CD et le son est vraiment sympa, donc je suis content parce que mon lecteur CD est tombé en panne et maintenant je peux à nouveau lire mes CD. Ensuite, j’ai essayé un DVD et l’image et le son sont vraiment bons. Mon seul reproche est que la télécommande n’est pas la meilleure. Il traîne un peu et il faut être assez proche pour l’utiliser ou du moins chez moi. Mais dans l’ensemble, pour le prix, c’est une jolie petite machine. Pas de fioritures, facile à brancher et à utiliser la machine. Comme vous pouvez le voir à gauche de l’image du téléviseur se trouve le lecteur DVD, il est petit/compact et s’adapte sur mon petit support. Il était également très bien emballé pour le garder en sécurité pendant le transport. Dans l’ensemble, le prix est bon et la qualité de l’image et du son est très bonne. Vous ne pouvez pas vous tromper avec cet achat. Je suis très content de mon achat.

Also ich habe schon mit meiner Frau diskutieren müssrn, warum ich in den heutigen Zeiten, wo alles auf YouTube etc ist, einen DVD/CD Player bestellen muss. Ganz einfach: meine Lieblingsfilme, Serien und CDs kann ich bei YouTube nicht finden- aber dank dieses kleinen aber leistungsstarken Players kann ich sie wieder anschauen..;) Das Gerät ist super kompakt, lässt sich hinter dem Fernseher super verstecken. Das Bild ist klar, der Sound fantastisch. Funktioniert auch wunderbar mit einem Beamer. Kaufempfehlung von mir, tolles Gerät für wenig Geld! 👍
