Juan Tamparillas –
Despite the 5-star reviews that indicate that the cello booklet is included, it came with only the piano part. I requested a replacement that also came without the cello part. I gave up
Portious Technic –
Good collection. Contained both piano part and cello part on one page rather than having a separate cello book. That’s fine for me.
Unhappy –
I can not use this product because it is incomplete. Over the years I have bought many collections by this publisher. There needs to be a separate cello part. This is usually an insert. The small cello line above the piano part is so that the piano can follow what the cellist is playing. The cellist can not read the small print or sit with the pianist. This is what happens when people who do not know music ship these materials. I will be returning it definitely. Extremely disappointed.
MR J T ORR –
The book was late, bent and didn’t even have the cello sheet music. When something is advertised as a CELLO classics book I would expect a cello part to be included.
melissa Perley –
These is supposed to have both cello and piano part and I did not receive the piano part. Unfortunately, this happens too frequently. The shipping was slow and then we found out the whole thing wasn’t even there.
Disapointed.
kathy crossthwaite –
Useless without separate cello part.
Jennifer –
I was so excited for this to arrive only to find out it only has the accompaniment and is useless for me as a cellist. Not sure if this is a mistake or if they need to just update the product description to clearly state that this is not for cellists rather for pianists.
Amazon Customer –
Book is exactly what I ordered but I wish it had a separate section for the cello only part. The cello part is written above the piano part so the print is smaller and there’s excessive page turning every 4 lines or so
filippo –
Hope –
This is an amazing product. The pages and everything feels so neat and smooth. The cover keeps the booklets of sheet music together. This was the perfect example of what all sheet music should look like when it comes through the mail.
Ever Zavala Jr. –
I like the selection of pieces in it, however… it is missing the Cello Part. One would think that music labeled “Cello Classics” would have a cello part… but it doesn’t. It even says “Cello/Piano” on the top right of the book, but it doesn’t have the cello part. This book should be labeled “Piano part”, not “cello/piano”.
Another complaint i have is that pg98 was already creased opened. My conclusion would be that either this book was used when i bought it under the price of new,… or this book had the cello music inserted here and it was removed.
This book gets one star since i bought it for the cello solos, and it doesn’t any.
Piano parts inside are:
Beethoven – Rondo from Sonata in FM OP. 5 no 1
Bocherini – Sonata No 1 in B-flat Major
Brahms – Allegro non troppo from Sonata no 1 in e minor op 38 (1st mvnt)
Couperin – La Bandoline
Chopin – From Sonata in Gm op 65 Largo and Finalle: Allegro ( 3rd and 4rth mvnts only)
Debussy – Reverie
Faure – Apres un Reve
Lalo – Lento – Allegro maestoso from concerto in D minor (1st mvnt)
Marcello – Sonata No. 4 in G minor
Massenet – Melodie: elegy from the Erynnies, Op 10
Saint-Seans – Allegro Appassionata op 43 & “The Swan” from Carnival of the Animals
Scarlatti – Sonata no 1 in Dm, Sonata no 2 in Cm, & Sonata no 3 in C-major
Vivaldi – Sonata no 3 in Am
Mystery: according to the Contents, the cello part has Bach Suite no 1 in G major BWV 1007 (unaccompanied) & Bach suite no 3 in C Major BWV 1009 (unaccompanied)
…Clearly, this book SHOULD come with a cello part which this company has kept and decided to deliver me only half of the product i have purchased in full price as new.
Athena –
This is the piano score only. No cello part was included.
