The right size makes or breaks these sandals. I bought an 11 as that’s what I wear in most shoes. It fit ok, but the toe strap seemed a bit high and there was a little too much slack in the heel. It just wasn’t very comfortable and wasn’t living up to the hype. I wasn’t a fan. Most of what I read online said you want your toes near the edge without too much room beyond your toes. I decided to order a 10 just to try and that made all of the difference in the world. All of the issues and discomforts that I had with the 11 went away with a 10. I would recommend buying one size above or one size below what you think you need. Try them on and you should be able to feel which one fits properly. When it fits, it just feels like it fits! If it doesn’t feel that way, please try a different size and I think you’ll find what you need. With the convenience of Amazon, you can just return the ones that don’t fit! This is my first pair of chacos after hearing all about them for yearrrrs by those crazy people that wear them 24/7…. But I think I might be one of those crazy people now!

These are my favourite sandals of all time. Needs replacement pair after several years of heavy use. The delivery was prompt. Sadly they sent the wrong gender (right size but in men’s) so I have to return them. But I hope they will send the right ones!

My son needed these for working at a local water park this summer. These are perfect. Comfortable, durable, and best of all they are long enough at the toe of the shoe he doesn’t scrape his toes anymore.

Es cómoda, un poco complicado de entender como ajustar, pero una vez que pones tu medida, es rápido y fácil, buena tracción y fácil de mantener limpia.

This review doesn’t deal with longevity because this is a new product that I’ve used for a few days.
First, I have nerve irritation in my feet caused by a back problem that led to back surgery and a side effect of that back surgery is often nerve irritation like what I have. It can make one of my feet painful and hard to walk on. I bought my first pair of Chaco at the suggestion of a foot specialist because of the arch support and I can walk probably for a good hour or be on my feet for longer than that in a given day wearing this style sandal and I don’t have issues with feet pain from nerve irritation. Actually the doctor suggested something else but another person told me these sandals are similar. I’m SO GLAD I gave them a try.
These sandals, which to me are like wearing open shoes because of how they feel and how well they stay on the feet from the straps, have an arch support that’s different than many shoes. Most arch support is only near the side of the foot. The arch support on these go deeper into the foot so it feels different than wearing other shoes unless you’re had shoes with a similar type arch support. It took me a few days to get used to it because it felt so different. Now? They feel very normal and the typical arch support type shoes feel uncomfortable to me and once again I can’t walk very long in them.
These newer ones have the same footbed as the older Chaco sandals I had, and the strap system is the same. And this gets us to the straps.
Some people talk about how they will change as they walk. Yes this can happen. It can also be stopped very easily. You take a small piece of plastic, maybe two, and wedge that into the opening where the strap goes into the shoe. This will hold the strap in place. Next thing is, the entire system of straps in the front is a SINGLE strap, which means it’s HIGHLY adjustable. And this is why it can shift some when walking, which can be fixed. I can get the straps on these new ones to feel VERY comfortable on my feet. No tight spots, no loose spots. The end of the strap goes through the buckle, where you pull the strap tight to hold to your foot, so with a bigger foot you have less strap hanging out, smaller feet you have a longer end hanging past the buckle.
So, if the footbed fits your foot well, the straps will work to hold your foot in place more like a shoe than a sandal.
I think most people after wearing these a few days and doing a bit of walking in them get used to them and they work well, but there will be some people whose feet have a bottom contour where these sandals won’t be comfortable. You won’t know the first day you wear them. It will take a few days and then you’ll know because once again the arch support is pretty different than most shoes. To me they’re a godsend.

Las sandalias se ven muy bien, las puedes usar para realizar actividades al aire libre, ajustan bien, son comodas y dan soporte al arco del pie. Son realmente versátiles.

These are great sandals, comfortable and supportive.

If you walk mostly on hard surfaces in town or on rocky trails, these are a great way to go — significantly more comfortable than many of the lighter weight alternatives. These fasten securely, so they’re also good on steep and uneven surfaces.
However, they are very heavy — definitely not recommended for running or any situation where weight is a factor. The other issue I consistently experienced was the toe loop tightening by itself.
Worth it for modest use when bought on sale. Otherwise, there are better options.

Bought these for my teenage son. He needed adventure sandals floor the summer and he’s fallen in love with these! They are comfortable, straps are fully adjustable, have awesome soles and arch support! What’s not to love!!!

These are comfortable and allow me to hike and get into the water at the same time. I have owned a few pairs of these and they last a long time as long as you are taking good care of them. The best part is it is easy to tighten them and adjust them to your feet.

I love Chacos, so I bought these. They look great, and like any Chaco I’ve seen they adjust well to any foot. I’ve worn these out with some dress shorts among other outfits. The only draw back I’ve found with these Choacos is that it wants to grab hold of all the dead skin on your foot, lining the shoe with the color of your skin. So as long as you don’t mind washing your shoe every so often then it’s an amazing show

I ordered a pair but I could not warm up to the way they fit and adjusted. Difficult and awkward to set up properly. I returned them.
