CHALKY CROWN Magnetic Dry Erase Menu Board with Markers

This was the best addition to this house. We plan our meals every Sunday for the next week. Super fun, easy to clean and comes with the chalk markers!

Love that it’s a magnet and I can put it on the fridge. The pens have great colors. It’s larger in size which is very helpful.

We recently purchased the Magnetic Dry Erase Menu Board for our kitchen, aiming to streamline our family meal prepping process. Here’s my experience with it:

**Magnetic Adherence: Problematic**
Unfortunately, the board’s magnet came with a significant issue. It arrived rippled, and these ripples just wouldn’t flatten out, leaving unsightly bumps when placed on the refrigerator. I even tried weighing it down with heavy books for a full 24 hours, but this did little to solve the problem. This flaw affects not just the aesthetics but also the practicality, as it doesn’t adhere smoothly to the surface.

**Markers: A Highlight**
On a positive note, the markers included with the board are fantastic. They write smoothly, the colors are vibrant, and they erase cleanly without leaving any residue or ghosting. This aspect of the product meets and exceeds expectations, making the writing experience quite enjoyable.

**Family Meal Planning: Excellently Served**
Despite the magnetic issue, the board serves its intended purpose wonderfully for family meal prepping. It’s a great tool for organizing weekly meals, jotting down needed groceries, or even leaving quick notes for family members. This has brought a new level of organization to our kitchen routine, making meal planning a much more manageable task.

**Overall: Mixed Feelings**
In summary, while the magnet issue is a significant downside, the effectiveness of the markers and the board’s utility in meal planning makes it a product still worth considering, especially if you can overlook the adherence problem. It’s a mixed bag but potentially valuable for the right user.

Mi è subito piaciuta l’idea di non dover trovare un posto per appendere una lavagnetta di ardesia e di conseguenza bucare il muro. Per la praticità va benissimo, aderisce bene alla porta del frigo e i pennarelli cancellabili scrivono benissimo! Perfetta 👍🏻

Originally I was going to get one of the white boards but review after review, and my own experience proved that I’d just end up with ink shadows on it sooner rather then later. So I decided to go for this black board with the chalk markers to help keep it looking tidy for years to come. Its been great – there’s enough room to write a couple of lines per day, there’s spaces for additional notes and reminders – things like DEFROST the ROAST!!! The chalk markers work well but you do really have to shake them very, very well the first time and then very well every time after that. The red is the most tempermental, it can streak a bit more then the other colors but all of them work well. Clean up is easy also – damp paper towel will do it, we usually use the one we just dried our hands off with. This menu board will look good and keep you on schedule.

We use this every week to manage our meals. It’s great!
