I had read a review that this shattered on someone for no reason which made me not buy it for a long time, then it was put on such a good sale I decided to risk it. I found that the reason that person’s kettle shattered was probably because they boiled water, used the water, then perhaps tried to clean the kettle by putting cold water in it. This is a HUGE no no. You do not put cold water on hot glass, trust me. This has been a most wonderful kettle. I love the color of it when you switch it on, neon blue. It turns off by itself when it’s ready to go. It boils quickly and quietly, and it’s nice and fat. The “steeper” is that what it’s called? Is awesome. You can steep all your loose tea in it without a bag. I love this kettle.

I liked its size and its quick heating element. It is an attractive design. This has different colored LEDs for each 5 different temperature ranges, pretty cool. What I didn’t like was the plastic lid contacting the boiling water, my lid also arrived dented. The temperature probe appears to be siliconed to the bottom of the kettle INSIDE the water vessel. I’m sure the science is there but silicone and plastic contacting my coffee water creeps me out a little bit. I am a early riser , and there are others still sleeping near by. When I make myself coffee, at 4 or 5 am ,this kettle loudly beeps when you put the kettle on the heating unit, again each time when you adjust past each of the 4 temperature ranges on the way to the last one , the boil, and again after you pour over your coffee and replace the kettle. So much for being on the down low.
Some people will absolutely love this clever and attractive kettle, but for me all the visual and audio cues, detracts from my lifestyle of quietly and stealthily waking up and enjoying my morning coffee, planning my day before most of the rest of the world stirs.

Es adorable , bonita , funcional , vistosa , le da un toque a la cocina , resistente y super rápida para hervir el agua. Honestamente un básico para acelerar el proceso de cocina. No que hacía sin una de estas. Ha sido de las mejores compras que he hecho. Además de que me encanta ofrecer té a la visita , es muy práctica y se antoja hacer te a cada rato.
