Product is easy to work with – spreads decently – wipes clean – you MUST follow the application instructions for this product NOT to smear & streak & make a royal mess of your windows. Take your time – get some really good microfiber clothes & as mentioned – take your time.
First cleaned my Windows using Windex with Vinger & then once the Windows were clean & dry – applied this cleaner with Ceramic & used a WHOLE different batch of CLEAN Microfiber clothes. Don’t use paper towels – they’ll leave little dust bunnies & the finished result won’t be as clean & streak free as with using decent Microfiber clothes.
Just for the fun of it – cleaned my shower glass first with a Mr. Clean pad & then Windex & then finally this product. Worked great for about 2 weeks before I noticed soap scum starting to build backup – so – ya – great for inside dry applications – not so great for shower stall glass – GREAT for Bathroom Mirrors – notice it cuts/reduces fog build up a fair amount – but – only seems to last about 3 weeks before you need to clean your mirror & start the application process again.

Chemical Guys Hyrdo View is perfect for cleaning your vehicles windows. I personally clean my windows with a different brands window wipes, prior to applying this ceramic. In my time of having this product over the past three weeks, the ceramic has proved durable. It’s easy spray on and wipe off style leaves your vehicle streak free and dries quick! I’ve only applied this twice in the last month (in between car washes) and it has proved its worth throughout Texas and Oklahoma storms, and has never failed to bead up water. Beaded water proves for better visibility and safety, during rain storms!
While the solution in the bottle appears purple, fear not as it will not leave any purple residue on your windows!
Perfect product, and another 10/10 vehicle cleaning product by Chemical Guys.

This works very good. Right after treatment the rain will start leaving your windshield at as low as 40mph. It also makes the rain bead very nice and allows your wipers to do a smoother, cleaner job.

I did what I usually do before putting any ceramic solution on my car and used a clay bar for prep, cleaned it up with streak free glass cleaner, and finished the job with this hydroview. Worked like a CHARM!!! Absolutely no pooling of water on my windshield and the visibility is 1000% better.
I also used it on my headlights and they look brand new!

Product went on as you would expect and at first seemed like it cleaned the windshield well. However I hadn’t been in direct sunlight where you can get glare on the windshield. I could not see out of my windshield with the direct sunlight on it. It was all smeared. I had followed the instructions and maybe it was me and that I didn’t wipe off the product or rub it in well. Either way when I tried to clean it off with the gas station squeegee it was worse. I had to carefully drive home and then tried to wipe the windshield down with a clean soft micro fiber towel and still was smearing. Finally just used windex to get it off the windshield. If I did something wrong with how I used this product maybe the folks who make this will get ahold of me and let me know. With what I feel is a terrible safety hazard I can’t recommend this product with my personal experience.

I find this to be a good product for finishing windows following a maintenance wash. Seems to work great at keeping dust and “sheeting” water off through the first rain. However, after the first rain and the wiper run, it seems like you can see the difference where they go and where they don’t. Not sure if the wipers remove some of the product or if this is to expected. Otherwise, the product is great.
Do not forget to buff off after applying. I did once and you can definitely tell the windows are a bit cloudy and do not look as pristine.

Probably the best advice I could give is to apply this product and then buff it out rather quickly with a dry microfiber cloth. Don’t let it air dry. This will make it quite difficult to see out your car’s windows and make it look like you just spread Vaseline all over your windows.
This product does a good job of keeping the water off of your windows. I really got the product because I was looking for something to cut the amount of water spots on my window after a dirty rain. This product does a good job of that. The price is a bit high for how much you get but it should last you a long time. The sprayer has worked fine for me as well. I haven’t noticed any film buildup on my windows from using this product long-term, so you should be fine.

When applied properly, this does an excellent job of cleaning windows, and getting water to bead off the windows. I was very impressed, with regular use you’d likely be using your windshield wipers a lot less because of how much water will simply fly off the windshield right after hitting it.
