I like the dry to touch tire coatings instead of the wet shine stuff that slings around. This one is great – it dries nicely with a medium shine that is fairly durable. My favorite part is how easy it is to apply. It comes out as a paste so it’s easy to get on your pad and easy to control as you go around the tire. I tried the exoforma stuff before and, while it worked similarly once dry, it is a runny liquid and was difficult to apply and tended to drip on the wheels. This pasty stuff is all I’m using now.

The media could not be loaded.

First let me start off by saying I prepped the Surface by cleaning it with soap and water and using isopropyl alcohol then treated the surface with a sponge and the product. It looked great, it conditioned the plastic bumper trim on my car and took away that faded look making it look new and shiny. I allowed it to 24 hours to dry before getting it wet and then it rained two days after application. When the rain stopped some areas of the rear bumper looks like they did prior to application and you could see the faded plastic rain drips and faded streak like patterns downward where the product did not hold up. The inner trim of the doors still looks amazing a week later. I also used it on the interior Dash and the trim on the side mirrors but I used f11 before I use the chemical guys on the side mirrors and it seemed to hold up better than just the Chemical Guys product alone. I’m going to try to use the f11 and then the Chemical Guys on the bumper to see if that works better. I’m giving it the four stars because it was easy to apply, did make the plastic look better, did not affect the paint on the areas of the car that I got it on it was easy to wipe off and in some areas of the car it held up just not the rear bumper against the water and rain. I also applied it to the tires and even through the rain the tires look great. Definitely follow the instructions on wiping off the excess product with a damp microfiber cloth and then with a dry microfiber cloth for a longer lasting effect.

I had my doubts about this until I tried it on 4 year old plastics on a VW Teramont that’s been surviving the heat and UV from the Middle East. This restored the black plastic bodywork to showroom new. I’m astounded by how well it’s worked. How well it holds up remains to be seen, but I’m planning to do this treatment once every 3-4months. I can highly recommend it for those black plastic parts that have started going grey. Also tried this on the sidewalks of the tires, it’s looking equally good! I’ll follow this up with a 3 month outlook at the next application. Easy 5 stars for now

This is a great product for any INTERIOR items. It looks great on exterior trim until the first rain then it is gone. Until it rains it looks better than most other products so either apply it only inside or reapply it after each rainfall.

I use on my Mini Cooper Countryman on the plastic siding above the tires, the black color has faded over time due sun. After researching options online, found a Youtube video that recommended this product as well as how to apply. I use it every couple of months after I see the fading show again. It brought the black shine back and looks good as new. I also use on trim outside and on interior vynl. I recommend this product.

Sprayed interior of my 2007 Crown Vic and shined everything to a durable, if worn-looking, shine. The rear seat became smooth and slippery and comfortable-looking, and the dash retained its shine with minimal need to wipe dust weeks later. The shine seemed wetproof and streak-resistant and durable.

As a car enthusiast, I’m always on the hunt for products that not only enhance the appearance of my vehicle but also protect its surfaces. I recently tried the Chemical Guys a dressing designed for vinyl, rubber, and plastic surfaces, and here’s my honest review:

Performance: This product truly delivers on its promises. The finish it leaves on the vinyl and rubber surfaces of my car is outstanding. It gives a deep, rich shine that revitalizes the look of older and faded parts. The best part is, it’s genuinely non-greasy and dry to the touch, which means no residue on my hands or clothes after application.

Longevity: I was impressed by how long the shine lasts. Even after a few weeks and a couple of car washes, the surfaces still look freshly treated. It seems to have some protective qualities as well, repelling dust and dirt more effectively than untreated surfaces.

Ease of Use: Application is a breeze. Just a small amount goes a long way, and it spreads evenly without much effort. It’s user-friendly, even for those who aren’t professional detailers.

Value for Money: Given the quality and the amount needed per application, I find this product to be well-priced. It’s a great investment for anyone looking to maintain or enhance the look of their car’s interior and exterior trim.

Overall Experience: The Chemical Guys is a fantastic product for anyone looking to protect and beautify their car’s vinyl, rubber, and plastic surfaces. It offers a superb balance of performance, ease of use, and value for money. I highly recommend it to both casual car owners and auto detailing enthusiasts alike.
