I recently purchased a grand piano and needed a music light I am very pleased with this product. Looks great and the slim design is sleek and minimalist. The light is just the right amount of brightness. It fit the my music holder and attached easily

I just received my lamp a few days ago. It was easy to install and a perfect fit on the music rack of my Yamaha Arius YDP-144. I didn’t need to re-shape (bend) the bracket. It fit right on. The light itself is great. When I first looked at it I thought there would be a problem with adjusting the head to the right angle so it would illuminate the entire sheet and not just the bottom half. It turned out that it has a good range of motion and I have no problem lighting the entire sheet. The light is easy on the eyes and the dimmer gives me a nice range from a very soft light to extremely bright. The light produced is very similar to natural sunlight. A little pricey for what it is but overall it seems like a really good product.

This is an almost great piano light. The things I like about it are: minimalist design, attractive finish, dimmer knob, LED vs incandescent of fluorescent, reasonable price. The things I don’t like about it are: too short even after being fully extended. The lamp section begs to be an inch higher but cannot be so adjusted. With all that said, “I can see my music again and I’m content . . . no, ecstatic”.

Always wanted a quality grand piano light. Ease of installation!

After researching different options for months I decided to purchase this lamp for my new Kawai digital piano. At first I was worried it wouldn’t fit well on a digital piano but saw that a few other reviewers had used it on comparable models. The color options available can match just about any finish. The dimmer is such a nice feature and I was quite surprised at how good it was for being on an LED lamp. This lamp deserves the 5 stars in my book. That being said I do feel like the price is a bit steep, but the quality is definitely superior. Nothing about it feels cheap. I was lucky enough to be able to get this lamp while a deal was going which made the purchase a bit easier to justify. In the end I think it’s still worth the cost!

Like you, I was a bit turned off by the price of this music light… until I received it in the mail. It’s packaged extremely well, is well-built, attractive, and gives a very pleasant light that you can control easily. Our piano is the focal point in our living room and this handsome little light actually ADDS to the décor rather than subtract from it like a cheap little light would. It’s rated to last 50,000+ hours (that’s almost 6 years of continuous use), so we plan to have it for a good while!

I am very pleased with this piano light for our baby grande piano. It is worth the cost – it’s got a dimmer with a wide range, it’s sleek and fits securely on the piano. It’s as artistic as it is functional !

Bought this fixture to replace an old fluorescent one which was not really doing the job on the church piano. The Cocoweb unit is much brighter and the included dimmer control allows you to adjust the amount of light to whatever level you desire. The fixture has a clean, stylish look which complements the baby grand piano, yet it’s slim size almost makes it seem to disappear when turned off.
The only thing I didn’t like was the foam tape provided to secure the dimmer in place. Totally unsuitable by my standards. Instead, I machined a block of aluminum to hold the dimmer and attached it to the rear of the clamping bracket (see pics #1-3). This provided a centered mounting and still allowed easy adjustment of the dimmer when necessary.
Be aware that there is an error in the description about the thickness range of the music rest which can be accommodated by the clamp of this fixture. It is capable of attaching on 3/8″ up to 9/16″, but not any thicker, unless you remove the padded pressure plate from inside the clamp. I don’t recommend doing that, because the thumbscrews could mar the rear of the music rest when they are tightened, without the padded plate in place.
All in all, it’s a great light fixture, although I think it’s priced a bit higher than necessary. However, I was unable to find anything else that was comparable at a lower cost, so the choice was pretty simple.

The piano light is attractive on my grand piano. The light is bright and dimmable which is a nice feature. I like the switch on the light instead of on the cord. The width gives light to music with multiple pages. Nice quality and very functional
