Cole Haan Packable Hooded Rain Jacket

Me gustó, mido 160 y peso 55 kg pedi talla CH y queda bien, podria usar un sueter delgadito abajo, queda justo arriba de las rodillas, el color esta hermoso. PS aun no llueve

I wanted a packable raincoat wind breaker for a trip to Africa. This coat is perfect. Stylish enough for city wear, great color for safari. Beautifully made, nice long,mid-thigh length.

I haven’t tried it in the rain yet, as u just got it. It has a great design, comfortable, classy touches, it is the right size, good fabric. But it is not really red, it is a pinkish red, still very nice. I am keeping it! I just won’t combine it with the red accessories I had in mind!

Everyone knows that Europeans love a great windbreaker, and Cole Haan doesNOT disappoint with this offering in the tailored lite weight outerwear seasonal spring/summer/fall light jacket division.

So, first off, I already have the original navy packable windbreaker in a misses S/Small. Please note:
that the counterfeit items are being mislabeled as P/Petite/as in short.

Although I(JJ/aL) am a tall/Waif/FiveFeetSevenInches/5foot’7inandasmidge–I liked this style of the jacket so much that I went ahead and bought this one in S/P with the hidden zipper feature, and also the short women’s hooded windbreaker(in black S/P) with the gold snap detail down the front.

NOTE: YES, This lite windbreaker design is running true to size, so if you needed the Small Misses in this style the S/P/smallPetite will also fit similarly. Important to note however, that If you are fuller figured or Taller than FivefootEight/5’8, you will need the Medium or larger- so if you normally wear a medium in ColeHaan windbreakers, get that size.

Special notes: The jacket will run true to size If you are a female between fivefeetfour and fiveFeetSeven Inches. As a waif-I am standard tall at Five feetSeven in and a smidge-5ft’7in- So depending upon the length and inseams I can shimmy into a longer to thigh S/P/PetitesSmall jacket where I (JJ/aL) would normally buy a traditional misses-Small that can accommodate taller female heights.
SoandBut FYI: NO despite The manicured shoulder tailoring this jacket isn’t designed to wear over a blazer or thicker garment- You would need more traditional outerwear to avoid it looking sloppy if you decided to try a bigger size to accommodate a blazer or thick sweater– –

But as the jacket is designed to stop around midthigh, I decided to take the risk, but if your bra/strap size is 36-or-larger you will need the MediumP/M or larger size in this jacket. However the Bow tie Packable Ladies Windbreaker doesNot disappoint in any color, I bought this style in an additional three colors (black/red/litebrownbeige) because I love my navy one so much! Although the give is probably going to be in the seaming under the armpit which is the difference uptop in a standard Small/S and a PetiteshorterSmallP/SP but this is NOT a full length jacket and if you have a standard full bust 34C/32D /Smallinabikini (so) you will love it as you should be able to wear it as designed over lightweight stretchy yogaTee’s type outfits or a buttondown shirt paired with a pencil skirt or slacks. And the thigh topper packable windbreaker/rain jacket one is a jacket I would definitely rebuy!

I don’t know if I just got lucky or if others are just washing it in something that discolors it but this jacket is very well made and color stays.

I purchased it almost a year ago now in the color gunmetal and it’s just beautiful shade. I use it for work over my tops and skirts or weekend with jeans and it just compliments anything I wear with it. It fits very well and I love all the pockets positioned very eloquently throughout.

I highly recommend this item. It’s a great Spring jacket!

It is a very nice jacket, the fabric weight is medium and the construction is excellent with princess seaming for slimming shape and taped seam allowances (not just cut and serged). I would say it runs small through the upper back, medium in the sleeve length. It is tailored, but not supper dressy yet not LL Bean casual either, kind of in between style wise. Note the bow in the back is functional and not something to just unpin, that bow allows you to create a waistline. The construction is good, the color is interesting, a mix of a battleship grey with a purple iridescence to it that makes it edgier. The snaps in the front protect the zipper from rain, I would assume as I have not taken the tags off nor tested it in a nor’easter…I am 5’5″, 120 lbs and I had to go up to a medium. There is one zipper pocket on the left side and two inseam pockets on either side. The flap fold over pockets are mock, just for decoration. There is no interior pocket.
