Very nice looking belt. For me the black side will be used more than the brown side so I’m hoping over time that the brown side does not show wear, but I have none so far.

This belt looks great with so many of my outfits for work – it exudes sophistication! The leather is gorgeous and the reversible option makes this belt even better, it’s like having two great belts for the price of one and I find myself wearing this with practically everything now. Really dresses up a pair of jeans and a blouse for casual dinners out. The fit is spot on also! I knew the Cole Haan reputation for their shoes was impeccable and so is the belts! Five Stars!

This is a sturdy, workhorse belt that should last for years and years. The product page is marked 40% Leather, 40% PU, 20% Bond. The belt is stamped genuine leather. The belt feels and smells like leather, so I am not sure.
This belt should complete at least half of my outfits, making it great for travel. I can wear it on jeans, nice slacks, a knit dress, any tailored clothing. The double sides make it even more versatile. Unless you are wearing it on the last hole (which looks odd to me), you won’t see the stamped information the brown side, but I would have made it a little more discreet so that it is always hidden.
I wear a 6-8 in pants so was not sure whether to order a S or M. When it arrived, I thought I had made a mistake ordering a M because I buckled it on the second to the last hole. However, when on my outfits, it is mostly below my waist, so I move to a less tight hole. It works great on my jeans, and on my hips in a black knit dress I travel with a lot.
I know from experience that Cole Haan shoes wear for a long time, and looking at the quality on this belt, I think this will be in my wardrobe for years and years. For the value (quality v price) I think it is a fair price at around $55.

Cole Haan. This is a well known brand and associated with quality and classic designs in my mind. True to form, this belt is solid, basic, classic. It doesn’t qualify as what I’ll call a “thin” or a “thicker” width belt in my mind. In this sense, if you are going for more towards the ends of the spectrum on wide or narrow this might not be your belt. I am about 27″ waist and ordered small. I can go two holes smaller or four holes bigger in terms of circumference, so I’ll say I’m close to the middle of the range which probably means small is the right size. I’m sure the belt will become more pliable with wear, but it’s quite thick and rigid to begin with. I’m talking off a star for the “reversible” quality described for this belt. The lighter brown side not only had a tag (which I tried to cut off, pictured) but it also has the size, brand, and origin imprinted on this side (also pictured). Granted, all this likely will be covered by the belt band once buckled, (assuming you didn’t buy too small of a size), but I have a truly reversible belt and not only does the buckle flip to accommodate either side, but there are certainly no tags to cut or imprinted information about size and origin that you need to hide. So for that reason, taking off one star. Value for money? I’ll put that right on the 3.5 star range.

This is a great addition to a classic or basic wardrobe. The belt has some nice, subtle details but is not overly branded. The simple circle belt buckle makes it more unique than a regular square, and it’s a reasonable size, so it doesn’t have to be the centerpiece of your outfit. I found the sizing guide to be accurate for me. It’s nice that you can flip it over to change the color for a slightly different look. The imprint doesn’t show once the belt is buckled over. As others have pointed out, I am disappointed that, at this price point, it is not all leather. I worry about the longevity of this belt, particularly as a wardrobe staple. For the time being, it looks great and feels sturdy.

The size chart shows size Large is 39″ and size 1XL is 43″. Unfortunately, the little tag that is attached to the belt has a mark like this = ” I “. The plastic bag says “SIZE LG”. There is size “L” stamped onto the product. However, this belt measures 43″. I’ve re-ordered a size Large in hopes this is just a bad batch?

This Cole Haan womens Two-in-one Reversible Dress Belt isn’t that ‘reversible’. Why I say that? Firstly, the belt is naturally curled as I (and most people) store the belt rolled up, that means when you want to wear it inside out the end of the belt is going to curl outwards. Secondly, the belt information (brand, size, origin..etc) are embossed on the belt where the end of the belt ‘may’ just covered over, if it is truly revisable this shouldn’t be visible.
Also, I found it is not easy to buckle/unbuckle the belt, as the belt could JUST fit through the widest point of the circler metal buckle. This also means there’s a significant rubbing of the edge of the leather to the buckle, I suspect the edge of the leather will show signs or use very quickly.
