I was not aware of this drum unit being needed for my HP all-in-one. I kept blaming the toner cartridges for black smudges on the side of each page I printed. Then I read an Amazon reviewer that touched on this drum working for their exact same problem as my own. So, I tried it and it worked to solve my poor print quality immediately! If you are having trouble with a fairly new printer and you notice that there is a second cartridge inside the printer, then I would suggest trying the drum unit for your printer or all-in-one machine. This product worked perfectly for my print issues! Worth the money!

Changed it out in seconds with this drum and the issue disappeared. The price was right also. If the problem shows up again OR if you’re seeing the same problem, definitely buy one of these drums.
