This is my go-to yoga pilates bible. It is very comprehensive and the descriptions of how to do the poses along with the pictures are the best I have seen.

I have owned this book for a few years and used it on a regular basis as a resource to support my yoga practice, my running and my general health. It’s terrific. I just purchased it for a friend who is training for the Boston Marathon this year and uses Pilates to build core strength. Running brings its own aches and pains, so I know this book will be a valuable resource for her, too!

Great book that provides a lot of exercises with pictures and explanations. I had no trouble trying new things to try or figuring out which ones would help which areas. I liked this book so much I bought it twice and gave a copy to a friend.

I’m so glad I checked this out from my local library before buying. I will not be buying this book as it is due to the tiny font.
The information is great. The photos are helpful. The layout is good.
However, the bulk of the font is in TINY and difficult to read. I think it’s a 6 point font. I buy books such as this to be used as a reference book.
I’m giving this book 3 stars because it’s nearly unreadable even though the content is very good. I don’t want to knock the authors because the content is good. However, they need to push for more creative control over the design of this book.
I checked it out for the kids yoga section, and that section is excellent. I found it to be very helpful and valuable. However, it was tough to read the tiny font.
To the publisher: revise this book and use standard fonts that are legible and I will buy it.

A great book that caught my attention in a store, but I wasn’t able to purchase it because I was traveling and this book is not light. Because its on a heavy side, it is full of very useful information, including great pictures that illustrate poses, yoga and pilates to fight certain physical ailments, yoga for kids as well as a section of importance of meditation.
If you’re interested in learning how to combine yoga and pilates or to have a visual representation of these two schools of thought, then this book is for you!
