If you want a quality instrument for this price point do not buy this. The instrument required extra expense just to get it playable and useable for a lesson. The company COOBL were unhelpful and some of the worst customer service you will encounter. Do not buy this item or deal with this company COOBL if you don’t want to be frustrated and pay more money to make your instrument purchase useable.

The cello was shipped in a box with no padding, box was smashed with 2 large holes. You have to assemble it. Nothing lined up well for us and bridge was cracked. When you try to tune it the fine tuners slip. We could not find a repair person willing to help us get it up to playing capability. Everyone we talked to said that it wasn’t worth their time. It is a lower quality instrument. So we started the return. The seller messaged us a week after the return asking us to please not return the item and try to go through them to try to fix our issue. Well it was already in transit back (had to pay to box it back up in a better box) and I didn’t want a replacement cello that no one in my area would fix. When they finally received the cello I got another message asking for photos? And saying they have processed a partial refund $300 minus a refund tax and a $140 restocking fee? UPDATE. Seller refunded the full amount after discussing the issues further.

Overall craftsmanship is subpar. Out of the box we had to replace the strings, the bridge doesn’t stay in place. Paint was missing on the back of the neck where it must have been resting while being spray painted. It “looks” like a cello but that’s about as far as it goes. Highly disappointed.
