Corel WordPerfect Office Standard 2021 Suite [PC Download]

I’ve been a WordPerfect user for many years, but haven’t kept up with each new version. Decided to get the latest version recently, and it’s absolutely great. There is no comparison to the ease of use between it and Word. Highly recommend!

Not keeping up with the times. Features and functions not as intuitive as Google docs or Microsoft office. Frustrating array of user interface buttons that don’t scale well with 4K or other higher end monitors. Does not cleanly convert opening of docx or xlsx files, and ends up oftentimes crashing out (of memory?!?). I like the thought behind the product but can’t seem to use it as proficiently and intuitively as I would like.

Another winner from Corel. WordPerfect, Quattro Pro are easy to use with tons of extra features. My favorites are that I can customize WordPerfect easily, printing into and importing from PDF documents, reveal codes, and “find and replace”. Additionally, the compatibility with Word is useful so I don’t have to do as much reformatting once a Word doc is imported into WordPerfect. And I am interested in using the WordPerfect eBook Publisher. I recommend this Office Suite to those looking for an alternative to Microsoft Office.

UPDATE: This program freezes and locks you out unable to continue (you have to completely exist losing changes), it cannot handle 10 page and larger documents well, it does not undo changes you need undone well, and if bringing in photos it will freeze up as you are trying to arrange them. I wasted a very serious amount of money on this program. It takes time to get to know what is wrong. They put you into a non-refundable purchase. Do NOT purchase this program. Microsoft Word is better at not freezing, saving and losing your data than this program.

COREL, PAY ATTENTION: This WordPerfect program can get you into trouble with your job. This is NOT a SIMPLE ISSUE. Corel NEEDS to listen. I have done word processing for decades. I used WordPerfect and the last decade or more Microsoft Word successfully for years. I wanted to go back and try WordPerfect again. I got caught in a very difficult mess. I had a picture, a simple jpg picture. It was in the right position not needing to be rotated. I tried to bring it into Corel Word Perfect from an image folder. It came in sideways. So, I opened the image up in Corel AfterShot. It came in upright again. No rotation was needed. I even tried saving the image with a different name. AfterShot has NO VISIBLE WAY TO SAVE EDITED IMAGES. I tried to bring the image into Corel WordPerfect again – no go, locked in sideways again, yet in the original image folder upright again as it had always been. Aftershot didn’t have even a clearly locateable rotation feature. When I did find something, the picture wouldn’t rotate AT ALL. I wanted to try to rotate the picture just to have the picture register as upright in the Aftershot and/or Corel WordPerfect program. This is a DINOSAURIC symptom that most programs cleared up YEARS AGO. $169 for this program???? What is going on here. I spent hours on this, it STOPPED all deadline work that was needed. It was a highly stressful disorganized amateur mess, but we’re not amateurs here. I had to copy the legal document I was working on onto an external drive, bring it over to a computer that had WORD on it, where the picture effortlessly incorporated successfully first try. The picture came in naturally as it should upright into the document. This was an EXPENSIVE program. I wonder what are you doing at this late date in the game if you cannot make a program successfully perform a simple needed picture import-to-document task. It is not a task for enjoyment, it is a task of important WORK. You just HAVE do something about this. You had better help this gliche get worked out for those of us that were suckered into purchasing this product. I have only had this program since late Dec. but didn’t use it on pictures then. I already can no longer use WordPerfect since the photo insert feature doesn’t function bringing an upright picture in upright, or allow rotation had it not been upright already. But, it was already an upright position picture. There is NOTHING WRONG WITH THE jpg IMAGE. There IS something wrong with the program – FIX IT. I am very computer SAVY and experienced: do not try to blame the operator. At jobs and during very important timeline work of any type, when this kind of thing happens, it can be and is very, very, serious. ANYONE EVER SOLVED THIS? You can solve aspects around it, but not what happened this particular time. I couldn’t believe it that I am really experienced and had this happen. You’re supposed to keep us moving, not ruin our necessary fast pace – I mean I’ve had a wrench thrown in my progress twice in the short time since purchasing I’ve never had happened with Microsoft Word even 1 time.
