For the most part, PC cases are usually pretty typical and standard, with the same look and feel and it’s boring

I’ve been through a lot of different cases, and my favorite for a while was the Thermaltake Tower 900, but that thing is honestly monstrously large and heavy af lol I wanted a big case with lots of room and that one was honestly TOO big lol

Now with the Crystal Series 680x, it’s a great unique design with lots of room, probably the perfect size. You can store a lot of hard drives and there’s lots of room for customization. I love the airflow and everything.

Notes: The 2-chamber design is pretty cool and something I really appreciate. I use a lot of external storage so this is not a problem for me, but users have reported that the 2nd chamber whete the PSU goes doesn’t have great airflow. It’s not a problem for me, but I thought I’d mention. Also, I’d say more than 50% of cases on the market come with 5.25 bays for DVD drives and this one does not. I still actively burn CD’s and DVD’s for several reasons, so if you choose this case, you will need an external disc drive if that is important to you.

Overall, fantastic case, perfect size with great airflow, great features and a magnetic door for easy access. 10/10 best case I’ve ever used

I have managed to stay away from RGB until now. I used to run purple cold cathodes back in my core2duo days, but after those I kept performance as priority and never bothered with RGB. Noctua fans and 5ghz OC intel chips. This build I say screw it and went with a somewhat shallow and gorgeous build, although performance is still key. After watching and reading reviews about this case I understood it was not the highest airflow performer, and actually kind of mediocre. That said, I don’t have problems with popping off the side panel to make it open air if required, but I really don’t think it is. The included RGB fans are actually really quite decent, although the rear white 120mm is meh at best. But I picked this case simply because I love to tinker, and the spaciousness really appealed to me. The dual chamber layout is actually REALLY awesome. The modularity and openness in this case is impressive. The quality of the materials are quite awesome. The metal side panel has a little flex, but one of the more sturdy panels I’ve handled. The glass panel is smooth as butter and easy as pie to remove. It also has off length hinge pins so that you don’t have to line up both hinges perfectly to install the door. You are able to do the top hinge, and then line up the bottom. This is a very small detail but it really makes the case nice to work with, as opposed to feeling like you’re fighting it. Corsair has really put a ton of thought into all the aspects of it, and you can see there was care taken in its design. Some may not appreciate the plastic hard drive trays, which is fair. They feel cheap, and there are better designs made of metal, but I personally see this as one of the better corner to cut to save money. It reduces weight, it costs less, its really easy to bend 3.5″ trays to lock in HDD’s, and really for me and probably many consumers, they get filled and never touched again. I REALLY love that they really did pick and choose where to cut corners and where they did I completely agree with! Another small thing I noticed was the center standoff is not a normal standoff. It has a pin that will locate the mobo properly, but does not get screwed in. This surprised me, until I realized my new Aorus Master has an M.2 heatsink above the top PCIe slot, which would require removal in order to screw in the standoff screw. My old Asus formula had no heatsink in this location so I didn’t realize that such a tiny details was taken into consideration to really make working in this case a breeze. I am thoroughly impressed, and I have not bought any corsair products aside from Ram since the DDR2 days, and a couple power supplies. But I have nothing but good things to say about their RGB products (although wire messes, easily cleaned up with some basic cable management) and this case. This case (as well as the manual that came with it) is supposed to come with the fan RGB hub, and the lighting node pro. I dont know if they are revising their accessories, or perhaps had no lighting node pros, but my case came with the Commander pro. I ordered this case and also ordered the Commander Pro as I wanted an easy fan hub and the extra USB connectors. When I say it installed (With the strongest, biggest pad of double sided tape) I was stoked. It was the ONLY thing I thought they should have added with this case. But I figured the price would be a little more, so I was ok they didn’t. But now that they did, this is a steal really. I paid regular price for it, I figured the RGB fans were a decent amount if bought separate , so for the case alone, although a little high, I was fine with for the design and glass of it. Now that I’ve built in it and seen it, I would gladly pay for the case alone without the cost of fans. Although it would be nice if the 4th fan was RGB, again its a cost saving measure in place where I am fine with them skimping on that to keep the price down. Overall, I love this case, and I was pleasantly surprised with the commander pro included with it. YMMV though, and until its stated that they are included instead of the lighting node pro, I would not base a purchase on that aspect, as they may not include it all the time.

If you want some long drawn out specs, go read the other reviews, but bottom line up front, I will never buy a normal single space case again. This is so nice to have all the mess and whatnot out of sight.

To the guy who said there was zero COOLING on the back side, you need to get in touch with your McGyver inner self. I put a nice 120mm RGB fan on the vent on the side panel combined with the power supply fan, I get LOTS OF COOLING on the right side where all the cables are. You just have to line up a fan to fit that space.

This is my first tempered glass case, I like it, I was afraid it’d be noisy, or glass shatter, etc. NOPE. all is good.

I personally raised up the top glass so there is more OUTFLOW of air, since my CPU cooler is mounted on the TOP.

FYI – NEVER have your CPU pump above your CPU radiator. It wears and makes noise later.

The glass open with a touch of a finger side panel is amazing. So easy to get to things and shows off the goodies.

I’ve had this case for about a week now and I am very happy with it! I try to future proof my PC about once a year if I can, but this year I decided to take it a bit future and rebuild the majority of it. (Still have more on the way). My buddy loved this case for his new build and it just gives off a nice customizable and clean look that I was looking for. The space in the back for the power supply is a god send. I just wired in PSU Cable Extension Sleeves and I still have plenty of room back there for more drives that I plan to throw in.

I’ve seen some comments and opinions about the case, saying that for the price, it doesn’t make a good fit for a moderate build, etc. However, I argue that it all depends on what you want. I’m able to throw pops and theme it much easier and add more fans in, if I want to. And easily upgrade to an AIO if that’s what I want to do later on…

So, if you want a well built case, with tough glass, with tons of space for upgrades, cable management, and or just a case to gives off a clean look and to give it a personal feel, then I recommend going with this one. Worth the money, for sure! (Just make sure you have the desk space haha)

I’m not a gamer. I’m a 62 year old father of two daughters who recently got married and have lots of pictures/video clips of their weddings and wanted me to put them all together into one comprehensive video so I built my second computer ever and chose this case because it looked like it would be easy be to get in and Fiddle around with components if needed. My only complaint is that it’s a lot deeper than I thought it would be and it barely fits on my desk but I do like all that space and the colored fan lights make me feel like I’m about 12 years old again but when I was 12 computers were just a thing that people mentioned here and there but no one thought we would be alive when computers became the norm. Nor were we sure what we would or could do with a computer. It’s very solid. And the glass wall is cool to look through. I should also mention that I do like to game at times and enjoy first person shooters and Splinter cell. Pretty fly for an old guy. Put Quadro 4000 video card in there and can’t hear any sounds at all and a 9th Gen intel processor. Making videos has gotten a lot easier now especially for one daughter who has about 2000 images to deal with.

Gabinete atende a inúmeras possibilidades de configuração e futuros upgrades na sua máquina, a única reclamação é o preço, muito caro pra um gabinete que um dia custou R$ 900,00.
